They fit in your suitcase. That alone saves you having to check your make up brushes in as oversized luggage. It'll pay for itself after one trip.

Can someone explain to me how my 68 year old father,who has been waiting on 2 knee replacements AND a hip replacement and is it absolute agony with every move, has not been given his surgeries because of covid, and yet someone can have a tummy tuck!!! Genuinely,can someone tell me how this works cause I'm absolutely livid. You are taking this personally when it isn't.

The majority of flights do not require saving lives in emergency situations. Many jobs - including boring old office work - involve training in fires, emergencies etc. Doesn't make the staff life savers.

There's lots more to the Aoibhes job than tea and coffee, granted. There's the safety demo, cleaning the plane, taking tickets, seat belt checks, putting on the right lights at the right time, dealing with passengers, loads more I'm sure.

It's not rocket science though and you are getting offended by descriptions of your job that your job *actually* involves.

I also actually typed "air stewards" and my phone corrected it. I thought that was the most up to date PC term, apologies if its moved on.

I hesitated posting this as I’ve seen people accused of being the person they’re talking about before, but I had an interaction with Sean today, and I was surprised by how nice he was. I was expecting a totally different personality, and he really pleasantly surprised me. A person with me who has no clue about Instagram or who he was actually commented on how nice and appreciative he was. I know that people can be street angels and house (or work!) devils as my Nan would say, and that it was only one short interaction in a non-work setting, but I was surprised at how different and unassuming he was compared to what I imagined in my head.

I will also say that the very scary thing was that I recognised the kids first (both little cuties), as they were with him. It’s not meant to be a rave or anything, but it was my first ever experience of meeting someone from Instagram ( or rather the ex of someone from Instagram!) in the wild, so I thought I’d mention it, particularly given the difference between my perception and reality (insert all the caveats I mentioned above again here!). I’m tying myself up in knots now so I’ll stop waffling

I absolutely detest this way of thinking. She has half custody of her kids. A lot of people with kids don’t have that freedom. She also travels for her job so has physical time away. Also, she earns a pretty penny for smiling manically into the camera with her mouth hanging open for Instagram, a lot of people that would be their monthly wage but it’s a 5 minute earner for her. Her kids are also in school, so she has hours free in the morning. No one has the same baseline. The lack of awareness of inequality is unbelievable. She thinks she’s so hard done by that if superhero efa can do it then everyone should be able to match her. Siobhan ohagan was at the same thing before her ONS offspring and is still unaware of her “single mam” privledge where the dad takes the kid and her parents often take her too, as well as having Creche everyday. None of these people have the slightest empathetic inkling in their hollow brains. They are oozing narcissism and unable to consider other contexts. We don’t all have the same freedom in those 24 hours. Some people commute 3 hours a day to work. Some people don’t want to fucking “hustle” all the time and want to switch off, enjoy life, get by. Eejits.
