William, Catherine and Camilla got new titles: Prince William has become Great Master of the Order of the Bath, Princess of Wales will also be known as Companion of Honour, whereas, Queen Camilla will also be called as the Grand Master of the Order of the British Empire.

Harry has dusted off his medals, only one of which is anything to do with the military. I'm pretty sure I've got a 'I've been to Skeggy' pin badge somewhere that I might wear next time I want to look important.

See, people are always going to compare.
It is human nature to do comparisons.

When Catherine is in the news, she is compared to Meghan and vice versa.


When someone sells jam and styles the packaging and sales pitch the same way as already established jam, people will compare the two.


All Catherine has to do is keep being herself. Keep up the good work. Stay graceful and stylish and kind and keep being in the public eye and seen to be doing all of that.
Then when Meghan gets herself in the media, everyone will compare her and what she's doing to Catherine and what Catherine is doing.
Copycats cannot sustain any of that because it doesn't come naturally to them.
So they will pale in comparison.

And if they try to discredit the one they copy, it backfires because everyone has already done the comparison and the other one has come out on top because they are the authentic one.


Same with this jam.
The American company she is trying to emulate just need to keep selling their top quality produce, and yes, maybe play her at her own game and send out a few 'samples' to influencers.
The King's jam already saw a huge increase in orders so they don't need to do anything to remind people of their superior product because everyone already knows it is the authentic one.



Basically, if you record a cover version of a song, it better be damn good and better than the original or it will sink without trace.

Why is valid criticism now 'cruel trolling?'

When I was a kid I was told to follow the mantra, 'sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.'
Words can hurt, but the message is to grow a thick skin and rise above it.

Suddenly now, the slightest criticism is cruel trolling.

Maybe a time will come when no tv shows, influencers, PR people, agents, book publishers, awards ceremonies, podcast companies etc will work with them.

We've seen the calibre of them decrease in importance [ from spotify to lemonada for example ] so maybe soon there will be none at all interested in them.

Like when someone has tried as much plastic surgery as possible and eventually no surgeon will go near them.

I think it comes from parents and teachers not being 'allowed' to criticise kids, so they grow up with a thin skin. No personal resilience anymore. The mantra 'you can't please everyone' doesn't seem to click with people these days. Harry, as a young royal should have been drilled to accept that you can't please everyone. William gets it. He gets on with things.

If the RF hadn't confiscated all his military gear, the puffed up little popinjay would have been strutting round in his most ornate dress uniform at Arlington, Pearl Harbor, Invictus and every other opportunity he got including giving out random awards.

Can you imagine? That basket of condiment surrounded by citrus would have been delivered with a full military escort and 21 gun salute if he'd been given half a chance

This aren’t earned medals they’re awarded ones - why wouldn’t he wear awarded medals if he has any? What’s the opinions here?!

As the daughter, sister and mother of three US Army combat veterans who served with courage and distinction alongside their service brethren, i vigorously object to Prince Harry being given the honor of presenting this award. He has zero affiliation with the US military and worse, he is using the occasion as a public relations stunt to burnish his own image.

Different countries, but my deceased ex would never wear his UK medals when wearing his French medals (19 years in the French Foreign Legion after 12 years RAF/REME). It wasn't allowed.

I put both sets on his coffin. At least they were all earned in combat.
