About Paige:
Paige Louise Williams is the founder and CEO of Plouise Cosmetics. Paige is a bOSs BaBe CEO that has never left the 2016 make up trend of drag eye make up and harsh bronzing and contouring.
Originally was a freelance make up artist that couldn’t get a job in the MAC counter at Selfridges due to her lack of skills and talent she decided to go freelance and was known in Manchester for Asian bridal make up.
Unfortunately Paige wasn’t satisfied with this and decided to open up the Plouise Makeup Academy in 2014.
“Humble Beginnings”:
Every second sentence out of Paige’s mouth is how she “came from nothing” and says she’s a classic “rags to riches” story due to her hard work and determination.
Paige constantly references her childhood as traumatic, poor and living on the breadline and basically references her mother as being a failure to provide which is so disrespectful as she was a specialist ICU nurse which back in the day would be a decent wage earning roughly £35k-42k.
Paige’s “traumatic” childhood involves not having a holiday, yes she actually said that and believes her lack of going on holiday is traumatic which is a slap in the face to actual genuine survivors of child abuse.
Paige references that she came from nothing on the council estate but the area she grew up in was not exactly stereotypical council estate that she tries to portray and basically references it as and anywhere else that isn’t a new build as a shit hole, again a slap in the face to millions of people who live and make a living on a council estate.
Paige discusses in interviews that she lived off of just over £100 a week but in the same interview says she has a an Audi that she pays £350 a week for, again, not a true and accurate portrayal of “poverty”.
Plouise Makeup Academy:
Tired of living off of gruel and scraps from the street decided that the povo life wasn’t for her.
Originally Paige said in interviews (Manchester Evening News) that she asked her gran for a loan of £5,000 and turned it into millions as that sounds reeeally impressive, right?
In later interviews and stories she then changes it to £20,000 which is a considerably amount more than she originally went about saying. Again, this is all from her apparent dirt poor family who had the ability to just hand her £20,000 from their savings.
