This was our second trip. First time we split our time between Ubud / Sanur (rains a lot in Ubud so skipped it this time. We did Sanur and Nusa Dua (Nusa Dua was amazing for relaxing / beach but is definitely a lot less typically Balinese. we did Ubud and Nusa Dua - def preferred ubud for more traditional Balinese. Nusa Dua as you said is all resorts and outside of that there isn’t much in the area!
