Yeah and it’ll have been a long time coming as it’s impossible for a landlord to evict someone overnight. Even with a lease agreement there’d need to be 14 days notice at the bare minimum.
There is more to this story, as others have said you don’t get a rent increase overnight and then close the next day. I reckon this is a strategic closure as they’re going broke or failed their health inspection or something. None of this makes sense.
