Getting dogs when you’re in such a bad financial position is just so ridiculous.

I am in a good financial position and wouldn’t get a dog due to the fear of a huge vet bill. I know people who have ended up spending thousands on things pet insurance doesn’t cover, like recurring issues. Unless you can afford a 4k vet bill out of the blue, you shouldn’t get a dog.

it’s very clear to me that Yasmine (despite living in se London all her life) wants to live like a yuppy gentrifier with her period property, whacky taste in decor and clothes, 2 sausage dogs, and having the latest most ‘in’ things I.e the peloton she bought a couple of years back.

trying to look ‘cool’ has got her in this position and is keeping her in this position. That’s really the crux of it.

this is my first post on this thread, I usually read through but I have to comment on this absolutely shameless woman. I find it disgusting that she is accepting money off people who are clearly vulnerable (like why would you ever). She is a smug b*tch and she is just laughing at the poor idiots who are feeling sorry for her. She is a white middle class homeowner in a wealthy area with expensive habits, expensive pets, and high expectations for someone who is literally begging for money on the internet. She should be completely ashamed of herself, but she lacks any kind of humility or respect. I did comment this on one of her last posts but I am now blocked. Ignorance is bliss, but we know your can hear us!

You take the rough with the smooth, Yasmine
If you quit your job to make easy coin by putting your whole life online and begging huns to pay your mortgage, then you’ll also get people calling you out for it on Tattle and elsewhere. We aren’t all dim af willing to give you our last quid so you can buy a smeg kettle.

I'm done with her now. Actually I think I've done with social media, already closed a couple of accounts!

Like I said before she needs something major to hit her before she will change....ie losing her house.

I claim UC, 1 adult, 1 child, housing association home (rent).

I earn £30k a year, I get £154 a month towards rent. Council tax single person, like she does and I get child benefit which is about £105 a month (sure she gets this to?). That's it. Nothing else. No help from ex, no rich parents, no property.

What does she actually want because her argument doesn't add up?

Surely her salary brings in more than £154 a month i get extra off universal credit? She has property. I would love to own and I'm working towards it.

Maybe we should have a salary swap...I will have her £50-75k salary, she can have mine and my UC payment....she what she thinks then!

My ‘lifestyle’ needs a wage of at least £150k but sadly I have to accept that I considerably less than that 🤣 taking donations if anyone who earns less than me would like to donate ???

I don’t get it. Why would anyone be interested in Yasmin reading out an anonymous person’s debt story? There are a million websites with them on - hell go on mumsnet if you want to read some. It’s not as if Yasmin can offer advice. So just……why?

For a woman who claims to have a final interview this week for a job and how public her TikTok is, does she really think this begging debacle won’t have been seen and there’s no way she’s going to be deemed employable now
Especially as she’s literally named the company (Jelly Cat) and shared the salary they’re discussing with her (£80k) - both of which are such major no nos. Can you imagine having your company’s PM literally begging on TikTok to help with her consumer debt? Insanity.

I have an interview tomorrow for a role that’s half the salary of the job she’s going for and I’ve had my presentation prepped for a week and have practiced it 20+ times. She’s so disorganised throwing together a presentation the night before while sat on TikTok live. Then when she doesn’t get the job it’ll be everyone’s fault but hers.

I can’t even hate watch her anymore.

I’m not a parent but am a single home owner, an apartment with a mortgage that equates to approx 25% of my income for context.

1) as I am not a parent, would parents feel it normal to ask children to help around the house? I’m asking because my mum would ask us to help with small things and if Yasmine is so busy she needs a cleaner (LOL) could she not have a frank conversation with the kids and say she needs them to help with emptying the dishwasher, putting washing away etc?

2) I’ve never understood why if I were to lose my job that because I own my home on a £600 a month mortgage I wouldn’t be entitled to any help? Surely if a private landlord can be paid then home owners should be entitled to say 6 months of interest only payments whilst job hunting again? I have no idea how UC or anything works so I may be wrong.
Your house is an asset. If you lost your job and had no other choice; you could sell your home and you’d get however much equity you hold. Renters hold no value in the home. A renter loses their job, they cant sell the home they live in and they’d have nothing. It’s not about paying the landlords mortgage, it’s about keeping a roof over the claimants head. A renter has no other options, home owners have options.

So through crying and manipulation on a social media platform, she’s made 3/4 of my monthly wage in 2 days.
3/4 of my monthly wage that I work damn hard to earn, safeguarding children in a social work role.
Disgusting, I honestly cannot fathom what goes through some of these “content creators’” heads when they beg for money. It’s what spoils TikTok

She’s saying she’s got a date with a new man. Clearly just trying to make her ex jealous as I’m sure it’ll get back to him.

Went back through her 2023 videos (she started the year debt free with 5k in savings I believe). An insight into a few of the spending she’s share online (tip of the iceberg I imagine):

£60 b&m hall oct 2023, useless office decor
£60 per week for cleaner - oct 23 - claimed she earns more freelance per hour that what she pays her cleaner, therefore it makes sense to pay a cleaner than take time away from work (during the year she claimed she earned nothing)

Oct 23 - bought a pear ring that tells others you’re single

Sept 23 - spent £400+ to buy her children iphones

Sept 23 - Mullbery cash stuffing wallet, claimed she bought it on sale (otherwise is £280+)

Sept 23 - tattoo as a “last indulgence”

Sept 23 - spent nearly £400 on childcare… while working freelance because she quit her job because her children needed her

August 23 - claims she had 5 months with no income

July 23 - her £500 costco “food” haul (mostly snacks)

June 23 - hairdresser appointment that she kept because she “pre-saved for it” and hopefully her finances will be back in order in 10 weeks when she was her next appointment…

June 23 - on holiday with the kids, £450 for the flights alone while claiming to be 2 months away from not being able to pay mortgage

May - £600 on glasses
£42 - cinema trip
£400 - labor to get her garden done + £200 on garden materials + £200 on skip

April - £80 on her hair… again

April - admitted spending and losing a “stupid amount of money” on online casinos

April - £70 on takeaway sushy

Feb 23 - spent £1,700 on her dog

Being told you’ve got the job on the day is the biggest red flag going! If you’re told straight away pls run 😂

It’s good to let people know before a weekend though, but I imagine if you’re booking final stage interviews on Thursdays you’ve made them aware it’ll be Monday onwards?

Isn’t it funny she claims to be a poor little single mum with no support yet ALWAYS seems to be able to find childcare at the drop of a hat
