Why not? Gotta get them views

I’m more interested in why she always always always has a very slightly red patch above her right (as viewed) eyebrow

I came over to catch up from start to finish before putting my 2p in after seeing she was in debt AGAIN!

I followed her first time around and thought she was great, until Klarna wiped her debt and she started making money which she then used to pay the debt off - it was SO quick and unrealistic, I just couldn’t find it relatable anymore so unfollowed. Her engagement is absolutely shocking and after catching up on all the ins and outs, it’s not hard to see why. As with many of her ilk, what started out as a pleasant and relatable (seemingly) person turns out to be nothing but a lazy grifter.

I’m in my 30s and I’ve been a royal twit with money all my life, never had savings and currently in £25k debt now but do have £4.5k in my LISA which I’ve built up over the last couple years, it’s all mostly my own doing and it’s as simple as that, I’ve spent what I didn’t have. It’s taken me building some money in my savings to realise that living from credit instead of saving is the worst thing to do and I’m so determined to flip it but it’s a slow process which is likely going to take 4 years to clear. I pick up extra shifts and have learnt to say no, and that includes saying no to every credit offer that is thrown at me.

The Debt Rescue thing seems very dodgy and could surely open a can of worms for some if they perhaps weren’t honest about their income/expenditure when obtaining credit and then raising unaffordability claims in a legal manner? I suspect Yasmin may have done that considering her odd budgeting logs over time & iffy employment.

So she’s £50k in debt but holding budgeting coaching sessions? I hope they’re what not to do as that’s all she’ll know.

The sessions are for only those people that have bought her spreadsheet . Her spreadsheet will be fiction as there is no way she knows what her income is

I think she thought she would get a round of applause for only buying a few bits in the sales but it's not going down well in the comments. She still hasn't sorted out her spending habits at all. Lots of comments telling her to shop on vinted instead and I agree tbh.

Wasn't she mentioning there is no need to buy and the marketing emails were over the top this year when previously she had supposedly turned off all marketing emails
Probably front loading spending as she did mention pre Christmas a no spend 2025 beyond essentials which is always pretty much everything. She is also planning a 40 before 40 which won't be cheap.

Until she cracks the delusion she’s fucked. Even at the top end of her shared salaries with a £50-70k job and a £300k mortgage, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a car she’s uncomfortably stretched - there’s no room for debt or tbh, luxuries like 40 before 40? 😳

Ranting on TikTok about how “it’s good for you that you’ve never been in debt” saying how much it depends on someone’s circumstances…

Yet was posting yesterday on Instagram about how “if you’re like me and you struggle buying things you don’t need, it’s ok if you don’t buy as many things during the sales”.

We all know people who make it work and don’t get into £50k of debt (twice!!!!!) with way worse circumstances and worse paid jobs.

She’ll never get out of debt with this victim mentality and not facing the fact that she’s in debt again due to overspending (on self/proclaimed things she doesn’t need) and poor money management.

Starting a savings pot for next Christmas isn’t the answer….

I’ve never been in debt because if I can’t afford something I don’t have it 💁🏼‍♀️ I also don’t quit my job and then live off credit.
I saw her trying to flog that park savings thing a few weeks ago. Didn’t one of those companies go bankrupt before and tonnes of people ended up losing a load of dosh?

She’s pretty clever , she knows by posting a story mentioning her debt level and then talking about purchases she has made she will get anti comments so that she can then create even more videos to get her engagement up and the creator fund paying her . One of the videos is around why she doesn’t buy second hand clothes from Vinted for her son yet it’s a platform she raves about as a way to save money and has used to sell her own stuff even the used swimwear to guys

They did but after that a thing came in where the money is held in a 3rd party scheme so companies can't run off with it.

The latest TikTok with the train spotting style rant is so terminally online lol, like using a ton of marginalised characteristics/un-privileges to evade any accountability. I totally agree that most homes are 3 missed pay cheques away from disaster & by the Grace of god go I, but hers doesn’t stand up to literally any scrutiny? No child needs to go travelling around Bali (or wherever it was) when the parent is in mid 5 figure debt, no no-to-mid income household in London needs 2 dogs and a car, no one needs multiple hundred pound dresses, the happiest childhood is a stable childhood where you’re not aware of the financial issues your parents have acquired to keep up with the Joneses?

100% we need to look after vulnerable people but similar to recovery from other addictions we also need people to be honest with themselves and admit it’s a spending addiction so they can actually recover. Not everyone who has been dealt a tit set of cards finds themselves with lick wallpaper and Sanrio car seat covers so there is more to it than that.

The tiktoks have worked for her , 250K views so far on the spending whilst in 50k debt, the rant video which if it relates to her life does not relate to either of her debts is over 10k

Some of the replies she has made are outrageous .
Taken this one , the last few months she has spoken about rebranding , the last few years she has been using the platform to make money about budgeting . She is not a content creator .

IMG_2449.jpeg

She has replied to a couple of people with similar comments that she had to give up her permanent role due to a difficult period for her kids. Completely reverse to what she has said before of deciding to go freelance and an issue then happened that meant she couldn’t work .
I don’t think she realises that people remember what she posts and will come at her when she posts rubbish . It’s a pity people comment as she earns money from the engagement.

But hasn’t she spent at least the last year perpetuating the (obvious!) lie that she’s a six figure earner? At one point she was doing guest appearances on YouTube channels to talk about it, no?

The career break for kids is a very honourable reason that is very interview friendly so hats off to her for managing to create a less alarming narrative to aid her getting back into work. However… you’re still responsible for managing the family finances? If you need a career break then save up for one, release equity, go down to part time hours, or any combo of the above? She has nearly 100% of her best case scenario gross salary sat in consumer debt how can she not twig that she has made a serious error in judgment somewhere along the line, this didn’t just happen to her?
