Her first husband was actually a childhood friend, they married young and divorced young too. I think Mo was the second one (or publically announced anyway). I did feel bad for her when he husband died but her behaviour has been questionable since, and she doesn't even look after Ava properly.

Honestly her diet and lifestyle is awful, and that's excluding the Muslim factor. It's like watching a car crash with her constant dieting after a binge. I wonder what her mum makes of it, being the one to pretty much look after Ava while Thanna lives her life.
