Where will these influencers/reality stars be in 5/10 years time?

I've been thinking about this to myself and just wondered what is going to happen to all these influencers/reality stars in the future?

They are popular right now, being gifted items all the time and clearly do well financially but surely this will have to end at some point? Nothing lasts forever and with what they are doing one wrong move or post and their career is in tatters.

For some people its all they've known in their adult life - imagine them having to get a job and being like us normal folk.

I hope it ends sooner than later and they get a reality check! Look at people like Katie price and others who were around in the 90s/ early 2000s so many went bankrupt and turned to all sorts of dodgy stuff.

The wise ones will have invested I guess and will still live comfortably away from the media / attention. They will still find it hard though as I believe they all thrive off the a licking and attention! Plus they will have become accustom to a certain lifestyle.

Hopefully most will just fade away from it quietly but I can imagine a lot will try to stay relevant for as long as they can milk it for! 🙄

Many of them will appear on reality shows and strictly then years later still be in the newspapers annoying the crap out of us.

Personally I wish they would get a real job.

I think many influencers will end up being done for tax evasion at some point... They are even meant to declare gifted items in their income taxes and I doubt many do.

I think unfortunately they will, as companies see it as easy advertising. I do think things will change though and it'll become harder to make insane amounts from it, and a lot of the older influencers will have to branch out to other platforms/things.

I feel like Youtube especially is dying out with the algorithms, so I can't see a lot of new Youtube influencers popping up unless they somehow luck out or have something new to offer. I also think they will be the first to try book deals/make up/reality tv etc, or start some sort of business, as a few of them already have.

Spending all their time taking their children to therapy for all the damage they have done by selling every moment of their childhood

Hiding away as all the surgery/fillers/botox/drugs taken, will have made an absolute mess of their faces/bodies.

Mrs Hinch will be on QVC at 4am

I try not to watch too many. There'll be another fad no doubt that some of them will try and cling to

One wrong move or a serious of wrong moves in any career can see it ending at some point. I would argue that influencing is a job so the ones that truly work at are spending a lot of time researching and learning different skills. So the more intelligent ones will know that they need to keep their nose clean and constantly evolve if they want to spend time in this career path.

Reality stars are like actors in a way in that some make it but so many more fall by the wayside. So again it's maybe the ones that realise at some point it will end so they have other avenues for making money or learn new skills whilst not relying on their fame to bring them money by opening a business. Some of them I do wonder what will they be doing in 5-10 years given that they have not made it and are becoming more of a parody.

Most of them will be dealing with the psychological damage caused to their children because of the parents need for attention ,over sharing every aspect of their family's business online .Older children will be dealing with the consequences of endless semi naked pictures, their influencer mums posted on IG in the name of body positivity
