I need a new hoover, have currently got a Dyson which I hate. I was looking at either a shark or a sebo.
Ive got a mixture of hard flooring and carpet so it needs to be good on both those surfaces and I’ve also got some pets so needs to be good with animal hair. Can anyone recommend one? I’ve been reading reviews online but would be good to hear proper opinions so to speak 😊

I love my Shark and can highly recommend. I was disgusted at how must dust and crap it picked up on the first go. I've got a pet hair one as it was on offer at the time (I don't have pets) so I can't say how good it is on pet hair. but I highly rate it

Miele or Sebo are better than any upright I’ve used but if you need upright, Shark.
I wouldn’t touch Dyson personally

Bought myself a Shark 2 weeks ago (always had Dysons previously) and I love it!

I’ve seen upright sebos, there a bit retro looking

I’ve heard a few problems about hair getting caught up and not being able to unblock it?

I have a cordless shark anti hair wrap and it’s awesome. One battery charge easily does the whole (3 bed) house throughly plus a couple of quick goes round too. I have 3 cats too!

I’ve had a couple of robot hoovers (Eufy & Lefant). They’re scheduled to hoover 3x over the course of the night. They pick up everything and you don’t have to lift a finger!

I have a Henry, but have tried a couple of cordless, vax, they are crap, if I had loads of money, I'd love to try the shark.

Henry is by far the best for me personally

Wouldn't recommend a shark! I'm looking for a new hoover too so will follow. Our Shark corded is pretty crap, was only great for the first 6 months to a year imo

I got a shark as a gift a couple of years ago after using a henry for years. I'd say the two are no different in terms of picking up but I prefer the sound of the henry because its not as loud.

Not had mine long, but mines an anti hair wrap. It does still get hair wrapped in it, but not as bad as my older Dyson. I found the cannister on Dyson really frustrating cos it was so difficult to clean and always smelt of dog. (I do have a dog, which will be why, but poor design).

I have a Shark and Dyson cordless. My Dyson is older and as I have a cat I prefer to use it on max power so the battery doesn't last. The Shark is better because you can just change the battery out.

I find generally the Shark picks up more than the Dyson but it is a newer model. Also like that the Shark is easy to store away.

I have a corded shark and think it’s great, previously had a few Dyson uprights and they used to be great but not any more. I was going to buy a Sebo but can’t be bothered with the paper bags, tried a Miele from a friend and it was good but also needed bags
