I bought a ceramic mug online when I was in an online shopping mood. It's a nice mug, but the 2 weeks since I've been bombarded about 3 times a day asking for feedback. It's a bloody coffee mug, it doesn't need every buyer to sing its praises FFS. Have now blocked the company from sending emails and I will now never buy from them again. I feel like my personal space has been invaded.

Honestly I’m with you all on this rant. I ordered garden furniture last night and they emailed 57 minutes later looking for feedback - how about you deliver it first?

I’ve started the day by being as petty as duck and emailing the planning dept to ask if people are allowed to keep motorbikes in their back garden. I’m hoping the answer is no because I’m so sick of being woken up at 5am every day. And I’m thinking they might actually be an effective part of the council.

Last night it was half past midnight as well - I mean when are people meant to sleep? Next door’s dog starts barking by 6am, and I’d sleep through it if I wasn’t already awake. But I’m sick of starting my day at 5am. Today is my day off and my alarm was set for 8am ffs.

I’ve noticed a massive increase in taxis idling in the street recently! Always blocking someone’s drive as well. They move when asked but that’s not the point. The constant hum of an engine gets annoying as well.

Still waiting for biopsy results almost 5 weeks later, rang the secretary both times put through to answer machine, left msg, no reply back, rang GP they won't help as my GP didn't send me, get a letter dated 10 days ago on my NHS app basically about the consultation & saying they will send the results & they expect them to be fine, well I want it in writing not just some guess work. Paranoid now they were never sent in the first place & they are just covering their backs, if I don't hear anything by next week I'm going to contact PALS.

Courier was blocking our work parking today even though we've told them time and time again NOT to. I had to park 3 streets away with my work bag, lunchbag, 2 dogs and some very heavy sample books. I wish we'd never put a dropped kerb in, it was a huge mistake.

This Beckham vs Brooklyn drama is getting on my last bloody nerve - at this point I'd rather read about interest rates.

Up until 4am with crappy prodromal labour and OHs snoring in my ear (he's got a cold, doesn't snore normally). Stayed in bed until 11:20 but my back is in pieces so I had to get up and move around a bit, now I'm knackered and upright rather than knackered and horizontal and I hate everything.

Ranting about myself and how useless I’ve become

Got told I didn’t get a job I went for interview for yesterday. She said I came 2nd in the running which I know was supposed to be a positive thing but I’m always 2nd choice, or never a choice.

I’m really in my feelings today and it doesn’t help I have no friends or family to talk to about it, it’s just eating me up instead.
Sigh 😞

I'm sure people didn't used to be so inconsiderate.

I know! Bikes racing in the night, modified engines, power tools, endless DIY, dogs barking, kids screaming, music blaring, cars idling. Half the time I think it’s this area going downhill and I should move, but then I spend a day with the general idiot public and wonder if it would be any different anywhere else, unless I move to a field!

I finally found an appointments line phone number for the specialist NHS unit my husband was referred to for urgent surgery last june. The lady on the phone was super helpful - and they hadn't had all the recent updates from his cardiologist including that he was so unwell  she's given him a provisional surgery date for the end of July but has also put him on the cancellations list. We've had letter after letter without any contact details so what a result! Good old google.

Shrinkflation creeping in more and more 😵💫 We got new till rolls after waiting nearly 3 weeks for some and we've gone through a pack of 5 rolls within less than a week as the rolls are less than half the size when a pack of 5 would've lasted at least 2 to 3 weeks - even when we have quiet days we could run out of paper for one or two till rolls it's that bad. Plus this batch is a lot smaller than the previous supplier. Doesn't help that a lot of people are buying in person meaning the machine will automatically print out a receipt

For a while I thought they were coming from the UK hence the delay but I think they may have been shipped regionally, but there's a possibility they could've been made in the UK... Ireland may have low forestation rates but it's not a desert either 😭 Brits (allegedly) at it again etc etc

A work vehicle signed out to me has been given a speeding ticket. Except I was doing something elsewhere 20 minutes before the offence, I know the road is 30mph (vehicle clocked at 44mph) and I know there are often speed traps in the location where it was clocked. I genuinely don’t think I was driving and have a vague recollection of giving the keys to someone else but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve asked my manager to check the yard CCTV and the other in-car systems but they haven’t got back to me yet and I doubt I will hear until tomorrow now. Argh. This is going to stress me out all evening.
