Doesn't muscle weigh more than large anyway?
Well, no. A pound of muscle weighs as much as a pound of large. But it’s more dense- so it takes up less space on the body. It’s why two people of the same height and weight can look so different- body composition

I thought I’d treat myself to a lovely tin of F&B paint for one wall, because I loved the colour and didn’t want to risk colour matching. What I’ve actually done is make it take longer to paint the chimney than it took me to do the rest of the room, as it’s basically made of water, falls off if you go over the same spot twice and will need 976 coats.

My husband paid for Paralives early release for our anniversary and I'm grateful but my gaming laptop is apparently not good enough to run it without having everything on very low settings. My rant is why is everyrhing so high graphics etc it's so annoying to people who can't afford mega gaming laptops with high spex

Also not being ungrateful but we weren't supposed to do gifts for our anniversary

My Mum calling me anorexic because I was sick at the beginning of the week, then stomach felt like it was being squeezed the next day so barely ate anything.
"Perhaps you're getting anorexic"
I said I didnt choose to be sick, I hate being sick. Im 5ft 9 and 11 stone 5.
She said you don't look 11stone, you've got a face like Victoria Beckham with the high cheekbones.
She wasnt impressed when I said oh thanks, there's worse celebrities to be compared to. Rather Victoria Beckham than Jabba the hutt.
I go to the gym at least 4 days a week and lift heavy until failure so perhaps I have a leaner body so less body large then others the same weight. But 11.5 isnt heavy and it isn't light its just normal. My scale app says differently though 🤣View attachment 4022128View attachment 4022129 I sent her these.
Anorexia is a serious illness. Not one to be thrown around because you don't like that someone out of the family is slimmer than the rest.
She wouldn't say I was morbidly obese if I was heavier 🤨
I'm 11st 3lbs at 5ft5, don't forget the taller you are the more bone you have which accounts for some weight. You are absolutely fine. It's activity that matters most. BMI is so flawed.

Well they decided to unlock my account without asking for all the proof they said they needed. So I’ve moved all the money into my chase account. I have a regular saver left with Zopa that I can’t withdraw until it matures in 3 months so I’m going to pay into that and then transfer it elsewhere and close my account. people. Left me really stressed tbh thought I’d have no money for the weekend

Yes,I refuse to pay their prices the quality is diabolical. I always get colour matched by Johnstone's and never failed me yet. Just done my bathroom in Naperon,it's a beautiful colour.

My mother, we are all on a weekend away together, lots of family and all the annoyances that come with that- but I was bending down into the fridge earlier to assemble some lunch for my son and she just yelled out ‘Jarvis, stop GOBBLING random things from the fridge!’ We are in a bloody barn conversion so the acoustics meant everyone and the farmer in the next village heard it.

I mean she’s clearly been spending too much time on Mumsnet as children aren’t allowed to wantonly snack less they end up on my 600lb Life but I’m 40 ffs, if I wanted to eat my own ham from a packet I bloody well would. She’s lucky she didn’t get a slice of torchon flipped into her face like ham a frisbee.

Why do they feel the need to randomly food shame like that?!

Some people have heavy bones too. I had one such child sit on my knee. I soon chucked her off!

House over road for sale, must be open house as ive seen lots of people going in and out today! Hoping the ones viewing it now dont buy it! First impressions and that! ... theyve already parked over someones drive with a car on blocking it and when previous viewers left theyve left their car blocking the drive still rather than reversing into the now empty space! Parkings a nightmare as it is dont need more considerate parkers moving it!

I opened a revolut account last year, I thought I would test to see if I could transfer money to it from another account, sent £1 & it sent it straight back to the account I paid it from, said all I needed to know, can't use it on apple pay/Google pay either, I've never used it since.
transfering a pound in and out is somethimg scammers do to test accounts! ..bank fraud team told me when my card was compromised and this had happenes to my account!

New person on our team has been producing some serious output and I felt both impressed and ashamed cos I could never. Then some recent deeper interrogation revealed that a lot of it is actually unnecessary, irrelevant or fails to distinguish nice to have from need to have. It seems she’s been using CoPilot for everything. Which is totally fair as an aid but it also requires some due diligence or what’s produced ends up being all style and no substance.

I use Monzo as my back-up account of sorts. They have great options available like rounding up your purchases and putting that money into savings or investing into stocks and shares. I'm also doing the saving all year challenge and get a very good rate.

Would never use them as a main one though. I've been with the Co-op for at least twenty years at this point but sometimes having the different options helps.

Ahh ok didn't realise that, I didn't want to put anymore in at the time because I wasn't sure about the account, apparently the one I had isn't protected either say if you lose a lot of money to scammers, so went with another bank instead. I only wanted it really to separate money I had to spend from my bill money or if I went out somewhere & lost the card at least I wouldn't have my wages in there & perhaps just £10/£20.

My auntie once got too much anesthetic, due to her heavy bone mass. She was OK just took a long time to come around.

My rant today is my town centre. Pre-covid I avoided it on a Saturday as there was always far too many people just milling about and generally being in the way. Used to stress me out and put me in such a foul mood. The. Covid hit and it was bliss as there was only ever half a dozen people in town at any one time and rheu kept thir distance, even post covid for a good while the town centre managed to stay relatively quiet, however this past year we are right back to post covid numbers and after my quick shop on town today for essentials I might add, meat from the butchers and cat food. I have decided no more. I will just go to tescos or try and nip in after work during the week. There is too many rude people who do not know how to function when in shops and the shops are too crammed with middle aisle crap to enable people to get around shops without being gridlocked behind people that seemingly have never seen products on the shelf or how to place them in your basket and move on. I seriously got stuck behind too old ladies today who looked at every single bottle of washing liquid and chatted about how tit or good it was, they were blocking the whole aisle with their shopping trolleys and knew I was there but would they move... nope!

I am exhausted but still got up, got the little ones ready, took everyone out for breakfast, went the garden centre, went and ordered the new carpet, drove home because Crapbag is a terrible driver and stresses me out, then made the kids lunch. I sat down and he went 'are you not going to help or at least make me a coffee' 🫩 he has a death wish at the minute I swear. He's only clearing out the attic but you'd think he was clearing out Buckingham Palace!

MIL and FIL lost the keys to their summer house that they hardly go in. Apparently looked high and low and couldn’t find them.
Partner had to get a grinder to cut it off
Went to get a new lock, someone comes into the shop and says they have hit a car with their door, of course it’s my partners, fortunately he’s co-operating but now it’s the hassle of sorting it out and getting it fixed.
Comes back puts the new lock on
Goes to put new keys on the keyrings
Looks up on the second shelf to find the original keys

That’s not big at all. In fact, I’m jel because I’m 5’9 too but despite being on 15mg of Mounjaro for the last six months, I can’t get below 13st9. You’ve done amazingly well.

I was in a supermarket just now and two women were blocking an aisle while examining something earth shattering and life changing like a bottle of sauce, or a dressing of some kind anyway. I said excuse me and one of them moved the tiniest fraction possible, and they both glared at me as though I had ruined their day. I went merrily along the narrow aisle, made my purchases and left. 🙄
