I’d love to have a vigilante group that just went in and removed animals like this dog, duck all the red tape and organisations that pretend to give a tit, just remove the animal and get it to someone who genuinely cares.
That's how I got my dog. She would have gone to Battersea, probably been euthanised because of her leg neglect/abuse and I would've never qualified in the first place as they always want everything that's impossible.

Did she have an outside garden or space? No, but she's been spoilt to fuckery, gets all the time and access to so many green spaces, and love beyond all compare.

I wish the rescues realised this. Not all flat dwellers want the lap dog or smaller breeds and yes, we can commit far more than having the mansion they're after. Christ, I lost stones from the physical activity she needs. Win win.

I called them years ago because some 'people' had tethered their ponies onto some land which was a flood plain. The rain rained and the flood plain did what it's supposed to and the poor things were up to their bellies at this point. The RSPCA did absolutely nothing and told me to monitor the situation

Some lovely people waded into the water and moved the horses on to much higher ground. They'd have drowned if they'd been left there.

A week later, the RSPCA called me asking me if I wanted to set up a monthly donation - you can imagine how that conversation went!!!
Agree the RSPCA are useless. They refused to intervene when 2 very sick horses were left without food and water in a field in our town, and then when we tried to complain about it they said they couldn't comment on individual cases and unless we had the name of the owner or the person who reported it they couldn't do anything! Absolute bunch of jobsworths. Nothing about the RSPCA shows any care for animals. We've had better action taken by the police locally which just shows how tit the RSPCA are.

Drives me round the bend. We get people trying to return dirty garden tools once they've done the job they bought them for.
We had a lady trying to return a strimmer the other day. When my colleague lifted it out of the box it was all bunged up with grass cuttings and dog tit. She was claiming it was too heavy for her to use. As if that wasn't something you could decide before dragging it through your tit-filled lawn. Apparently she's going to write to Martin Lewis about us because we told her she wouldn't be getting a refund.

When did Calippos become so tit? No flavour. Not that’s it stopped me munching a box in one go. Bring back the pink grapefruit ones 😋

I'm just tired. I would like a week off from life where I only have to worry about me.

D&V. Simultaneously.

We go away next week. Please, please do not be a bug 😪

(Good for my pre holiday diet though )

We haven't had any illnesses in the house for well over a year, I'd say 18 months. Please don't start now 🫩

I have mentioned this in another thread but I can’t bleeping stand Martin Lewis, I know everyone thinks he’s a saint these days but he’s a real headache for anyone working retail or customer service for companies, customers think they’re entitled to whatever they demand. People demand compensation for the tiniest errors.

My tinnitus. I have put up with it for 20 years now but sometimes the tone/hissing changes and you wake up and think FFS. Instant bad mood today.

There was a time about 15 years ago where he made a big thing about how if you were paying in cash you were doing the business a favour, because they weren't paying a processing fee on your transaction like they would if you paid by card. He was encouraging people who were making expensive purchases in cash to ask for a discount for doing us this "favour." Where I worked at the time, every other customer would ask "discount for cash?" then get annoyed when we said no, because "Martin Lewis says there is."

We actually were allowed to give out discounts for large orders, or if we thought it would save a sale, but there was no way you were getting a discount if you asked.

Oh I know,I cannot stand the man either. The way he speaks just irritates me,he's such a know all. He doesn't say anything ground breaking, it's things that have always been a thing anyway.

Really ? I have known it happen with say Cars and Property but never other goods lol. I would never, I'd be so embarrassed tbh. I hate haggling though and find it so awkward I just pay and that's it. I went on holiday once with a friend, and literally everywhere we went she was haggling or wanting free stuff,I wasn't sunburnt,I was bright red through embarrassment the whole week.

We get customers asking if we will take 20% off (the VAT) if they pay in cash  And I have to take a deep breath before I can answer politely because it still has to go through the books and the bank charge us for paying cash in.

I need to rant about companies that want you to go into the office for work when you can do the exact same job at home 😡

I have it really good at the moment, no expectation to go in. However, another team in my business area have just been mandated to two days a week, so I expect it will hit us too soon. There’s absolutely no point. With flexible working arrangements, you basically end up going in to sit alone or with one other person. Such a waste of time

Somebody somewhere has ruined it for everyone else.

Mr Biscuit's work used to let people work from home whenever they liked. That was stopped when they received a complaint from a customer and listened back on her calls, and could clearly hear in the background that the staff member had her kids at home. And it wasn't just a one off, she was working at home every day with her young kids there and no other adult home. She then dropped several other people in it for working with kids at home, or working out and about, making sensitive phone calls in public.

Now people can request to work from home for short periods, but blanket home working has been banned. Which is fine by me, coz it means he's not at home under my feet on my days off 😂😂
