School will be the best days you will always remember, keep the head down and work hard. Wish so much I hadn't followed the crowd to be cool

Fights and arguments with family is so pointless because they only ever wanted what was best for me. Thankfully when I got my early teen years over I wasn't as bad lol.

Never settle for being treated like shit.

Always listen to your gut instinct and don't let people talk you round. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.

Don't quit uni - it'll be much harder to go back in your 30s whilst working ft and with young children 🥴

Don't put off paying onto your pension!

Don't be financially dependent on a man. It took years (the best years 😔) to get out of that mess.

He doesn't love you. You deserve better.

Wow that was cathartic!

1. Whether a boy finds you attractive is not everything you are, and it will not matter in the long run
2. Your “quirks” are actually anxiety and panic attacks, get some help ASAP
3. Stop trying to please everyone.

You are not fat.
You are not ugly.
Work harder in school.
Worry less what people think of you.
Travel! Covid restrictions have really made me regret not travelling more when younger.

Don't smoke. I wish I'd never started. Took me 40 years to give up albeit with the help of a vape. All the money I wasted on cigarettes, jeez.

Definitely to stop thinking about what others think and just be you. I know it can seem hard but it will get better/easier so stop stressing and enjoy being young and carefree.

So many things:
Get a job as soon as you're old enough
Do your second year at college
Don't spend so much of your money on clothes, bags & nights out
Save as much money as possible
Learn to drive at 17
Don't just settle in your retail job, get that career
Get help as soon as you feel your anxiety & depression spiral
Move out younger

Yeh, alot of regrets over here

Make some proper friends at uni and get your head down and do some work. You don’t actually like getting pissed every night and you won’t even talk to these “friends” after graduating.

Also stop being so obsessed with calories and weight!!!!! You are naturally blessed with dad’s skinny genes!

Don’t worry about the girls from school, 16 years down the line they will be exactly the same.

Be happy in yourself.

Keep in touch with people more.

People care, your actions have an impact even though you feel anonymous & unseen.
Move back to your hometown a lot sooner than you think you should - it will be the making of you!

I would of told myself to never of got involved with my ex. But having said that going through domestic violence has made me the person I am today. I would never of met my friend or my partner now if I didn’t experience what I did.
I would just go back and tell my younger self that you are a survivor.
