I dip buttered toast in tea. Didn't think it was that weird until I told a friend and they looked at me like I'd lost the plot

Me too although I have to let the toast go cold before putting the butter on. Dunking dairylea on toast is even better lol

I had a friend who was visiting London for the first time and took her for an afternoon tea. In her home country it is considered rude to leave food, so she insisted on finishing everything we were given and ended up putting chutney on scones and jam on a Branston pickle sandwich She seemed to enjoy it though, I've found very little that she won't eat

Was she being polite in pretending that it was a nice combination?

Salted peanuts added to ready salted crisps and eaten in handfuls together.

As a child I used to dip ready salted crisps into hot chocolate . I mean chocolate with sea salt is all the rage now so I wasn't too far off

Hula hoops and galaxy... you don’t know what you’re missing

also, baked beans, with marmite and cheddar. Has to be melted into the beans in the pan, not just added afterwards
