Little ones especially toddlers need suitable toys and playtime. Stacking blocks help them with dexterity, fine motor skills, hand to eye coordination. Playing with the right sort of dolls teaches them different things like caring and kindness. Being a teacher does not mean you know everything about child development especially if you've been trained to teach teenagers who are a whole demographic.
She needs parenting classes and to be taught about the importance of how much children aged 0-4 have so many different needs. That's why there is an early years strategy that's been around for sometime now.
I have degrees (multiple, not a brag I just continued learning and still do), but I don't have much common sense with so many things in life. My mum loves to say "brains to burn, but not an ounce of common sense". Also, most importantly having degrees does not make you better than anyone else it's just a piece of paper in a specific area.
Thankfully, I've always been maternal and I do seek guidance even now when they're 18 & 17 and thankfully I've a mum who calls me out if I need it. I do understand the need to be protectful of your kid but for Christ's sake she puts everything online so she will get judged for what way she gets on and rightfully so as she is a bloody awful mother and is not meeting Stories needs at all.
As for vaccinations my kids are fully vaccinated, even HPV/Meningitis as they're teens. I don't get the covid vaccine anymore, but do get my flu one as I'm asthmatic. Each to their own, but don't put out information if you're not educated in what vaccinations do and why they're important as we have plenty of data on them.
