Wee Belfast Chick #2

I’d say she must be a substitute classroom assistant that steps in when someone’s sick or when they are low on staff seems more likely as she never seems to always be working. Just find it hard to believe she’s actually teaching kids with the way she talks and words things. Wouldn’t like to think she’s actually teaching kids anyway.
Must be, is this not the first time she’s done ‘teaching’ since before America too

I refuse to believe any school or the Education Authority would hire her after seeing her social media. She has no concept of safeguarding, is so illiterate and clearly has 0 organisational skills.

are you a Gaeilgeoir yourself??? I don’t agree with much wee Belfast chic does but your comments are coming across like your problem is more with the language than her parenting. As the saying goes Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste

Are you for real ? I literally just don’t like Lauryn, why else would I be on this thread. I slabber about everything she does, not just about her tryna speak Irish to the child.

I don’t have an issue with the language whatsoever I think it’s great if someone can speak it, same as any other language - I just don’t believe Lauryn does. Didn’t realise I was coming across any different than that.

I can’t believe people are even implying that I have an issue with the language, I’m literally from the falls road 🫠 sorry for not speaking Irish? Sorry for being a wee Belfast chick hater x

Don’t be upset. I don’t think most of the people who post here think that.
I’d love to speak Irish - I didn’t go to schools where that would have been remotely possible. I’m probably a good bit older than most people here, so it definitely wasn’t a time when it was possible either.
I wouldn’t know if she spoke Irish well or not. She certainly doesn’t speak English well, so if that’s anything to go by…
Hasn’t she said before that she only took it up when she went to Uni?

I’m just wondering where Storie is when she’s in putting her clothes on the radiator and getting the curtain pinned up for her going to bed? Surely not in the bath?
Is it that hard to put a curtain pole up? Prada bag but a curtain stuck over her window 🤷‍♀️

Awk thank you I really didn’t think it would come across that way tbh like having an issue with a language wouldn’t cross my mind.
Yeah it’d be good to speak. I have only really heard of people taking it at school as a subject.

Her English is terrible and she chats so much rubbish I just don’t believe she can acc speak Irish outside of a few phrases she’s learned

I think you’re right in what you’re saying about her only taking it up at uni but she would prob say different now. Always changing the story on everything 🤷‍♀️

I hate to stick up for her but she did go her teaching degree in gaeilge. And it’s actually hard to get on to in St Mary’s. She took it up in secondary school. She by no means went to a bunscoil or colesite feirste but her half siblings do and their da actually did too. So I wonder was if his influence that led her to doing it. But I’d be shocked if a bunscoil/gaelscoil took her in to a days subbing. She couldn’t read the directions to book that duck earlier how’s she gonna teach basic math or language

I would say she ‘teaches’ in naíonra or rang a haon there’s no way she is teaching basic writing, reading or mathematics, its either that or or the gaelscoil is. incredibly short staffed and basically need a body to be there

I’ve heard from teachers I know that there is a lot of staff illness at the moment due to the number of colds, flu and Covid going around.

Well hopefully she's better at speaking and teaching Irish because she's absolutely tit at English! Maybe we've found her skill because I've been struggling so far 🤣
