I like their beef mince. The 12% one is on offer at the moment. I try to pick a couple packs up when they're on offer.
I only buy the 10% and higher mince but I bought the Waitrose 12% one recently and it was full of gristle. I’ve bought it again to see if it was a one off, I hope so.

I bought their 15% beef mince couple weeks ago.I needed 750g and would normally get Tesco 5% steak mince which is £7.50. Waitrose is £7.00, but was on offer at £4.66. I was making pies so thought I’d try it. It was great. I always brown mince separately and drain it anyway, what ever percentage it is. I honestly didn’t notice any difference. It was a nice thick texture, no gristle or rubbery bits and will buy again. If it’s on offer I will stock up. But at full price am saving 50p each pack, which is very good as I go through a lot of mince. ( can’t believe the price of it these days).

I normally buy higher large mince as I generally prefer mince to be fattier as if it's too low in large it's more like a steak. It does depend how I use it though. If I add it to a sauce, then I don't mind either, but generally I like fattier mince, especially if I'm mixing it with rice and veg.

I've only ever had their 15% mince. It's the native breeds one. 12% isn't too much different, but I've always enjoyed the 15%. On the price, it's £4.50 at the moment, but usually £6. The 15% is normally £7. It isn't cheap, but I don't eat beef that often. Also, it's 750g so not too bad I guess.

My delivery has arrived, complete with blonde chocolate croissant. I hope it's as nice as it sounds. I shopped carefully, and it really wasn't any more expensive compared to my usual supermarket. Apart from all the extra treats I added.

That is so random. I would never think to buy it but it does look delicious now I come to think of it!
I am fond of nougat, can’t remember the last time I ate it. I love chocolate, but think Easter eggs are a rip off, I buy them reduced. as it was on offer I thought I would treat myself.

Husband left the cheesecake out overnight so it will need to go straight in the bin, gutted 😔

Why?

too short

(we would eat it)
I’m not sure I feel like it’s something that I can’t eat. I dunno how warm the house was but it was in a bag on the floor for about 14 hours. (While eating sushi I bought yesterday on a yellow)

Not Waitrose own, but AFAIK only stocked in Waitrose, I buy Houghton Ham and used to get five large slices, one slice would do two sandwiches for me. Now you get three slices, and one slice would barely fill a slice of bread. Really annoyed me, any other ham recommendations?

I confess to only doing a top up shop on Monday so my bigger shop will take place after my coupons have changed today and will count towards my April spend.
