Academia Vonny really stands out for me. Get a load of academic women to email you their personal stories of harassment and quietly stop pretending to be an academic once she'd wrung the attention out of it?

Oh fuck! The ~I was one of the first people in Scotland to contract COVID but kept shlepping regardless between Fife, Glasgow and Edinburgh with no quarantine or self-isolation measures~ Vonny! How could I forget? ETA Have added it to the first post, thank you.

OK sorry, she's a fantasist who somehow wedged herself in to the Scottish public consciousness during the referendum. Previous to that she was mainly known for girls gone wild on reddit but then she repackaged herself as some sort of serious commentator and has been running with it ever since.

Whoa, what? She used to post nudes (presumably) on a porn subreddit and somehow turned that into Twitter fame? I genuinely thought she was just a not very well known hack

There must be a LOT of backstory I’ve never heard, I only started noticing her on Twitter this year.
