Wow! She has no shame, has she? Once she realised she could get her pound of flesh too for little to no work at all (copy pasting other people's content doesn't count, Victoria!) she quickly changed her mind.

I used to like Vix and had quite pleasant and funny interactions with her on SM to the point I'd look forward to her #vixswipes on twitter. I'd say about 5ish years ago? Everything about her was different. She had a great sense of humour. She carried herself really well and her overall online presence was engaging. I won't comment on her physical appearance beyond saying she looks unwell, unkept, overall unmotivated.

It's a bit sad looking back and seeing her "evolution". 🙁
Yeah she posted some funny dating stuff online a few years ago. She's lost both her parents so she's had a rough ride but she does look a bit unhealthy but there could be many reasons why.

Sorry this is me possibly just being naive but what’s the connection between PR and having articles published?
Thanks to the poster above who explained what I meant. I worded it badly, should have written magazines and websites instead of publications, my bad.

Essentially she's teaching people to do things she's never managed herself!

I remember her being slobby and moany. I haven't looked at her insta for ages, but just had a look now and she seems to be much more put together and isn't complaining as much? Also looks like she's stopped advertising chips, sex toys and whatever random crap comes her way....

I used to run my own business and took a course on improving your instagram for it, she was also on the course. Got the feeling she felt she was above most people on the course because she was a 'full time blogger' and that she wasn't happy with any of the course. That course was run by an influencer, basically fleecing their naive followers (like me!) by selling them expensive courses. I now notice that Vix is doing something similar, with her Grow&Glow membership/course/whatever. I was naive at the time but now I'm wise to it - all these influencers do is try and get some sort of following or expertise, then fleece their vulnerable followers (lots of the people on the course I did were women on maternity leave or who had lost their jobs or were trying to build their own businesses around full time parenting) by selling them said 'expertise' at high prices. A lot of the people on the course like Vix have gone on to create their own paid-for courses, or become 'coaches'. I think the whole insta-coach thing needs looking at and is a bit like MLM - someone gets coached then starts their own coaching biz for other women....
Sorry I appreciate this message is nearly a year old but what course was this? @Thetruthwillout

Alice Benham is just as bad as Vix. One year as a social media manager and now she’s a digital marketing coach charging people hundreds of pounds to work with her. I know marketing consultants with 15 years of experience, degrees, practical diplomas and corporate coaching qualifications who are legit accredited who don’t even charge what she does - it’s laughable really.

I’m not saying that you have to have all those qualifications and all that experience, but to not have ANY of it and to call yourself an expert and charge hundreds an hour with only one year of actual experience - is dishonest, wrong and embarrassing - especially during a global pandemic! It’s like wow, how self inflated must your ego be to think that you, with such little experience, know enough about an industry to coach and train others?

It is interesting to note that they are not as successful as they’d have you believe. Alice recently sold a group coaching programme and she predicted that it would sell out a few hours after launch - she was warning people to sign up ASAP or all the spaces might be gone in just a few hours! Fast forward to one week later and she’d only managed to sell half the spaces! She also ended the launch period a week early because she’d burnt herself out by pushing the course so hard online. Ultimately (at least some) people see through the bullshit.
wow, I had no idea she had such little experience! 😱

What’s a pyramid scheme about vix? Is she teaching people to teach others or something? Is anyone able to explain it to me without me having to delve into the depths of her hideously coloured social media feed?
