I take nothing but I really should, I just have a huge phobia of tablets, always worry they will get stuck in my throat plus can't handle the taste :(
I have a huge issue with swallowing tablets tooI (I feel like this would be a great opportunity to make fun of my gag reflex lol). I'm on antidepressants right now, and I've resorted to taking my pills with a petit filous yoghurt :ROFLMAO: it's been working so far, so I'm going to try this method with some wellwoman multivitamins I picked up in boots today.

Can anyone recommend anything natural / vitamins for anxiety?
I've recently signed up to Nourished - and a vitamin in mine has something called Scutell Up which is supposed to be anti anxiety - I find that helps quite a bit actually - I haven't taken it the last few days and anxiety definitely higher (but could be linked to other things)

Other than that magnesium is supposed to be good for anxiety and ashwaganda ive been looking into. I bought the goli vitamins which I tried but they're so sweet.

My anxiety is quite bad at moment so I'm going to try magnesium and ashwaganda and I'll report back - I do take CBD which helps as well not sure if you've tried that :)

I've taken Vitamin C with Zinc for years. When I was about 16 i would get a cold every 6 weeks and my friends mum who was a nurse told me to take vitamin c and zinc. It definitely works.

Now i take vitamin D too, only really because of covid.
Yep I was told by a Surgeon to take Redoxon if anyone near me had a cold. It works. My staff used to ask me how come I was never sick, I'd rattle my tube of Redoxon at them

I take a multivitamin and a a separate vitamin D from vitabiotics but need to take iron and b12 I think as im sure im not getting enough - anyone recommend any brands that are easy to swallow? (hate large pills!)

I keep fit and make sure I eat a balanced diet so tend not to need supplements. That said I work offshore so I sometimes take a course of vit D, not much sunshine in the far north winters.

It does, I never knew about it then my husbands district nurse said about it. I’ve always had tonic water too as that helps. I also have itchy skin allergy so take antihistamines at night, so that combined helps me.
it’s so hard to describe restless legs to people! My husband is actually paralysed and mocks me for my annoying legs when he can’t move his lol

May I ask which antihistamines you use? My skin allergies are really playing up atm and the ones I’m using just don’t cut it.
I use the cheap ones b&m I take 2 x10g. And I have the drowsy ones at night.

You can also get a magnesium oil to spray on your legs, I got it from Holland&Barrett, it was good, apparently it absorbs really well through the skin.
I might look into that too thank you

I was severely deficient in Vitamin D when I had my bloods taken last year but have been taking Vitamin D gummies and now my levels are well into normal range. They’re also so tasty, I literally look forward to taking them every day and at the beginning when my levels were ridiculously low I would happily chuck 4/5 in my mouth at a time lol

I also take Biotin, Zinc and Iron.

Whoever invented vitamin gummies needs to be officially recognised 😂 Those things are 👌

It's such a minefield trying to decipher the better quality supplements. All these sodding review sites pick a different "best" brand every single time. I've just spent a cringy amount on marine collagen and omega 3 😭

Surely your GP gave you a prescription and did they actually bother to find out why your vitamin D tanked that badly. Ideally 70-80 is fine for Vitamin D, 232 sounds very high.
They did but it was low dose, if I remember rightly it was called Adcal? Yes I had recently been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease so was due to that.
I did a lot of research into vitamin deficiencies at the time, people who suffer with certain chronic conditions require higher levels of vitamin D to prevent cardiovascular disease. My hospital consultant was pleased with my results.

Thank you! I'll definitely try it
You’re welcome!
Oh I think it’s definitely worth a try. First I was put off by the fact that all the Kardash clan whatever and all the wannabe celebs was promoting them a while ago but I’ve been using them for a 6ish month now and I can definitely see the results in terms of growth and thickness. Not a huge of course but good enough to keep me using them.

I honestly completely get it. And you feel so stupid saying you're not good at taking pills but I think it's more common than you think!

Vitabiotics are about the size of what the pill used to be for me - I think there might be a pic on their amazon listing so if you struggle with that at all then I would just get the sprays better you do as they work really well tbh.

Im fine with the little pills now but anything too big and I can't do it - which seems stupid as I can shove a load of food in no problem at all 😂
I couldn’t take tablets for yeaaaars. Would literally make me vomit. I also had one stick in my throat and panicked.

Then once I had a really bad infection and there was no liquid alternative. I took it once, and after I could do it every time 😂. The brain does play tricks on you

I take multivitamins and ferrous sulphate. I am deficient in a few things due to medication and an eating disorder. I feel a lot better since taking them!

Not the same at all but my 9 year old son suffered with really painful legs (growing pains?) and I had a google and got him a multivitamin with magnesium and he's never complained since about them hurting.

I take Vitamin D. Had a health diagnosis some years back, and that was the one I was deemed low in. It makes sense as we don't get enough sunlight in the UK.

I’m vegetarian (I eat cheese but not eggs or dairy) and I take a centrum multivitamin every day, plus recently started taking omega 3 fish oil capsules (I know these aren’t vegetarian friendly but thought they were the lesser of two evils instead of eating fish!)
I don't really understand how this is the lesser of two evils? You're still consuming product made from a fish without any of the benefits of actually eating the fish? (Other than the Omega 3 obviously)
