Think she’d be great. She’s calm and a great interviewer. I remember her reporting from Manchester right after the bomb at the Arena and she had such compassion and empathy, it was very moving. I might watch GMB if she joined. With Piers it was too confrontational for 7am

Can’t stand Kay. She’s just as shouting and obnoxious as Piers.
I suspect that's exactly what they want. Not sure how that would work with Susannah Reid though. They'd have to go with a whole new team.
She can be good at discussions but I find that she shuts them down very quickly when she doesn't agree or when the opinion of the interviewee is unpopular
If you're going to have an interview, you're sadly going to have to accept whatever answers they give and question them about those. Not a fan of Piers and his shouty way of doing stuff while subtly attacking/trying to tell the other person they were wrong but at least the other person is able to say something rather than essentially being told to shut up
