I've only seen the first episode, but it's refreshing to see Misty/Mama G(?) being so supportive of her daughter. She validates her! I'm so used to the many awful, callous mothers we see across these franchises like Teen Mom etc

Watching episode 4 in the US right now. I read Hunters dad was able to get temporary 50/50 custody with the order that he’s not allowed to sleep over at Bella’s house when he’s with his mom. His mom looks like she’s been a long term addict, I think her and Fallon are all around my own age and it absolutely blows my mind

Watched episode 2 last night, are they adding new couples each episode? Or did I miss Mia in the first episode?

Amayas mum seems such a kindhearted and supportive mum which I think amaya will 1000% need. She also seems sweet needs to grow up a little bit.

Isabella is starting to annoy me a bit, more so just with her attitude towards Bryce’s grandparents. He needs a kick up the butt to get a job and they need to stop pandering to him but I suspect they are over compensating due to issues with his mum and his dad passing away when he was younger. The one thing I don’t get is why she couldn’t get a job before she was further along in her pregnancy, no excuse not to work. Even Mia is working while pregnant!

So Mia says Jessi removed the condom, she doesn't know why...to me, that is stealthing and that is sexual assault

I was also thinking this, I wonder if that’s why her dad won’t let him over after that info being released?

I'm a newbie to unexpected.
I've just watched episode 1, season 1.
Should I carry on or can anyone tell me the best season to get started on

Did anyone watch this weeks episode yet? Isabelle was out of order in this weeks one towards Bryce’s grandparents

Are you kidding me? This has to be a wind up. Bryce hit her. He hit a pregnant woman (child) and admitted it through text and then continued to lie about it when questioned by his family. Isabella tried to defend him. Talk about DARVO and gaslighting. His entire family ganged up on her in the episode before, all adults and she a child, and she was able to stand her own and left and did the right thing. Not many 18 year olds can do that. Isabella is right to talk to sense into Bryce’s grandparents. She has a baby on the way and they are enabling his entitlement and disgusting behaviour. She is encouraging him to get a job and his grandparents are in the background saying “Bryce is above a minimum wage job”. Not to mention paw paw has a recent “domestic terrorism” charge in Texas, which means he either put his hands on one of them or threatened them with a weapon. This is domestic violence and if this were aired in the UK or Ireland, the duty of care would be to cut them off the show and not give them a platform. Isabella doesn’t have much support and she is fighting for that. This is a wild take, genuinely in shock here

When did he hit her? I didn’t see this part.

I didn’t feel like they ganged up on her, I feel like they had attitude from her right from the start of the dinner and she was going in on his grandparents. I get she’s frustrated with him but that’s no good reason to be disrespectful towards his grandparents as it’s not them that had done anything wrong then for her mum to get threatening towards them. It probably seemed like they were ganging up on her but from the jist of it they wanted to know what was going on cause he hadn’t told the truth and she was screaming in their face.

I’m only going based on what was shown in the episode so I wouldn’t have a clue about the other stuff regarding his grandfather. Where is all this info so I can look it up?

We must be an episode ahead here im Irish but living in the states. 3 grown adults ganging up and yelling at a pregnant child because their son was admitting to cheating is not ok in my book. She goes outside and they FOLLOW her to the car and start on her and she defends herself is what I see. If you’re an adult in the situation, you encourage your son to work it out. You don’t FOLLOW her outside, bring all 3 adults when she’s clearly upset and trying to leave and start the argument FOR him. Thats 3 grown adults bullying a child in my book.

Your def one or two ahead of the UK episodes then. Though in my opinion they had followed her out because she was slamming doors and storming out of the house so they probably only went out to find out what was going on.

Don’t get me wrong he does need to get a job but she’s nagging him which seems to be having the opposite effect. I came across one of her own TikTok’s saying he was working and had been working from the age of 15 but he lost his job due to his mental health and he was struggling. With the way they were approaching the issues probably made him worse, she even said they just hadn’t communicated well.

Also I wouldn’t condone the DV, I just haven’t seen the episode you’ve watched yet so my previous comment wasn’t condoning that

Il have a look at those links soon.
