Adding to the scent experiences - I lost my dad in 2012 and he loved a bit of TCP for all ailments and every now and again I’ll get a waft of it randomly. It’s happened in several houses (I’ve moved twice since he passed) and even in the car. I’ve not got any of it in the house and it’s such a distinctive smell. Really comforting when it happens to think he’s making his presence known to me.

I've probably posted this story before but I can't remember so ...

When my Nana died my Grandad went to live with my Aunt. Quite often my Aunt would say that Grandads room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. He never smoked and neither did anyone else in the house but my Nana smoked like a chimney.

I love seeing your stories, thank you for sharing them. I wish every day that my brother would send me a sign or something. I’m sure he does in ways I don’t know of. 💛

This is random.. have you seen the advert for the canals and river trust? A young boy is searching for a kingfisher, following the directions that where left to him by his late grandad.... n when he spots the bird... he says.. look grandad its there!
I like to believe that those moments, ones we would have shared, that bring a tear and a wave of emotion and a memory, are signs that they are with us. As long as within your heart and mind... they never leave us. I hope that thought gives you some comfort 💖💕🥰

I always want to ask little kids about spooky things, but as I don't have my own to practise on it's a bit of a dangerous endeavour.
Mind you after the major spooky event in my house, a little boy approached me to talk about his grandma, who he'd been playing with, so he must have overheard the adults talking. Told me his mum said she was dead, but he couldn't see it because she'd been playing with him and his toys before his tea.

I went to a psychic last week I booked under a fake name. My nan lost her child to meningitis when they were about one, anyway it’s not widely known in the family but the psychic said my mum is with her sibling on the other side. She said a few other bits that weren’t generic answers to questions.

I haven't had many spooky experiences (and I don't want them!) and all of my Grandparents are dead now, but twice since my Nana died I have had such a weird strong sense of her.

The first time I was driving and I heard her voice in my head, clear as day say 'Hi (name!)'. She had a specific way of saying it that all of her voicemails sounded the same. It was out of nowhere and I wasn't thinking of her at all.

Second one was I was in my kitchen and I got a strong smell of her washing powder\softener. I know it wasn't my house because we don't use it due to skin allergies. Her house used to smell strongly of it. It lasted about 10m and then disappeared.

Didn't really know where to post this, but it's so true about retail now.
Especially the bit about feeling ill and out of balance in shops.

The previous owner of our property has woken us up at night via our ring camera. Just hovering, looking at the camera, complete with his flat cap. This thing is, he died quite some time ago. I think it saddened me more than scared me - he was young and whilst refurbing our house for himself, sadly became very ill and the house had to be put on the market.

The bloke in my house wears a flat cap and is 51 years old. The psychic says he thinks I'm haunting him.😁
She also said he has a few mates in the houses around me. He also can't go upstairs in my house, as there was no upstairs in the building when he was alive. I always wonder if there was an explosion where they worked, as it seems odd that they're all here together.🤔 I would have thought it was a very combustible place (gas).
One of the houses she pointed out is always going up for sale.
I either read or was told once that if you sense something, immediately start taking pictures in that direction and you might capture a ghost.

Oh ive thought of another one! Its like someone put 50p in me on this thread!
Over ten years ago my beautiful beloved dog passed away, although he was old, i was devastated. Totally bereft.
One morning, about six weeks after he died, i"d showered and was getting ready for the day, i went to make a coffee... as i opened the door into the kitchen..... my gorgeous boy sat there waiting for me wagging his tail. The date this happened was a personal and painful one for me .. I said to him oh hello... what are you doing here? Although.. i know why you are... n im ok. N he went.
It was lovely!
My darling little girl died in my arms - she was a tiny Yorkie (very small - only weighed 6 and 1/2 pounds).

For weeks every time I came home she came running down the stairs to meet me, as she did in life, getting fainter and fainter as she got nearer. It was such a comfort - I miss her so much still. (I miss all of my lovely animal family members). ♥

So are you saying Harry is the 'reincarnation' of Henry VIII? Chelsy is possibly Katherine Howard? Meghan Ann Boleyn?
As I've got older nothing seems that unlikely tbh. Anything is possible.
I could believe H is the narcissistic psycho Henry VIII - but I can't think of any Tudor wife who would fit M's role.

M was Anne Boleyn. She's lost her head a few times it seems. One was a Welsh girl, I can't remember who.
Peter Phillips new wife was another Tudor come back into the family.
Watched another today about Harry Selfridge which was interesting, especially the story about the shopworker. Sounds like he was good to his staff and suffragettes and disliked the monarchy, who didn't cough up for their shopping, particularly Queen Mary.
The psychic mentioned in this again, that Prince William had been George V and Princess Catherine (of Wales)had been Queen Mary.

That is so beautiful! .. i remember walking where I would usually go with him and for ages could feel his tail hitting the back.of my leg! My mum suffered a bereavement and I stayed with her for a while and every night felt her dog ( who had died years previously) jump on the bed and circle to get cosy and lie down. So comforting

I have more.. are you comfy with a hot toddy and biscuit..... I was at a friend's house.. chatting as you do in the kitchen, glass of wine in hand but by no means pickled... I did a double take to the entrance door into to kitchen n the person I talking to said.. ever so matter of fact... can you see her too?
A girl aged about five in a kind of meringue type dress, pink and ribbons lace etc
I absolutely shat myself.. my head was on a swivel cos this spirit wasn't moving and said friend acknowledged the presence.. I said what the %#&%... you can see her? Who is it? Omg. The air was blue. I had had spooky things happen to me, all family related but this was a different experience altogether!
So... I was totally shocked. Duno who it was but said friend had regular visits from this child. I ran home... I bloody bolted out that door! 🤣

Apparently it is a thing that pets spirits can be around for a few weeks after they die.
My dog Lucy died about 20 years ago and the first few nights I heard her jump off my bed and then her claws coming down the wooden stairs. I 100% didn't imagine it as I'd think 'oh there's Lucy' before I remembered.
I also felt her jump on my bed and snuggle into me.
Alexander Armstrong talked about the same thing happening when his labrador died.

Sorry about posting this video twice. My head's all over the place tonight, courtesy of a relative sticking their head in the sand.🙄
Anyway, I came across my scrap of paper with the names on when trying to find something else.

These are the other incarnations:

Henri Paul - Oliver Cromwell
Charlotte Brontë - Daphne du Maurer
Emily Bronte - Virginia Wolff and Mary Shelley
Beatrice (Fergie's daughter) - Queen Victoria
Beatrice or Eugenie's husband (but psychic thought it was Eugenie's Jack Brooksbank) - Prince Albert
Eugenie ( Fergie's daughter) - Lady Jane Rochford (Anne Boleyn's sister in law)
Sophie Wessex (Duchess of Edinburgh) - Elizabeth 1
Ted Kennedy - Pontius Pilate
Boris Johnson - Winston Churchill
Andrew Lownie - Richard Duke of York (Richard 3 father).
Prince William - Alfred The Great
Catherine (Princess of Wales) - Elswith

As I've previously mentioned QE2 and Meghan had important events happen on the same date in different incarnations, e.g. Meghan decapitated 19 May one incarnation and married 19 May in another incarnation.
I've not had time to check anyone on the list above.

I've heard this, but also for humans as well. For one relative in the weeks after they died I got a Disney song in my head and white feathers.
