No great fan of Lauren or her taste in ink tbh but I think by "meddling with an industry she was not part of. Loads of tattooists were calling her out." seems an odd way for any woman to describe the actions Lauren took. Is it "interfering" to bring awareness to the fact that a viciously racist, misogynistic ex police officer who had taken and distributed gore porn images of two murdered girls & posted them to his mates for Nazi laughs at the racist invective directed towards the victims of a violent crime, thus compromising an investigation into the killings by disturbing the scene & bleeping up the forensics was enriching himself from an industry which has spent so much on PR countering its traditional and well earned image of harbouring quite a lot of misogyny & predation? Because I describe that as a public service.

Again I will say I hope Lauren is alright. I know from bitter personal experience just how malicious cops can be when "one o their own" is called out for their myriad illegal & immoral behaviours.
Pretty sure the mother of those two murdered women would wish Lauren well too. She'd be about the only bleeping one who ever held the sick guys to account for the degradation of her slaughtered girls.

Ooof. I don't remember mentioning that horrific case, and I don't remember "describing actions Lauren took" either.
There was a lot of discourse surrounding whether she was qualified to hold.public opinions about the way the industry was going. Which would make it hard for someone with fragile mental health to keep doing it.

There has been a long & detailed discussion of the events leading up to Laurens' sudden vanishing act from social media on this thread. The vanishing happened straight after she called the wrongcock pig out, bringing to light the nature of his crimes & the ways in which the industry as a whole was failing to do or say anything. She even said specifically "I'm calling this out because no one else is."

Tell me would you feel safe in the shop of the man who did that? Would you be happy to do business with him, order supplies from him - refer female clients to him - or to go yourself? Because I would certainly not feel good about any woman being at his mercy.
I would sure as tit be worried if any non-white person, male or female were to stumble into his den of iniquity unawares. But then I read many of the disgustingly racist messages exchanged in that secret Facebook group full of the Filth where he posted the initial images of the dead girls. To the great hilarity of all concerned. From the way Lauren was speaking about it I suspect she had seen some of those posts too. Tommy bleeping Robinson would have been taken aback by the language used.

Has she got a full time job? That feels like a really un-Lauran like thing to do 🤣 She only ever worked part time in retail before YouTube. I don't follow her but thought she was having a mental health crisis and taking it easy?
I thought she got decent views on YouTube but have no idea what ad revenue is these days?
Well retail can be a full time job? 🤷🏼‍♀️ She gets on average 30k views, ad revenue of YouTube is so poor. Can’t imagine that’s funding anyone to sit home for sixth months straight or pre-break. I understand taking a mental health break but six months is a long time, and doesn’t look like she’ll be back anytime soon. It’s an easy thing to use as a cover, no one asks questions.

Six months of absolutely no activity n social media for a person who has literally spent her entire adult life online seems like an extreme way of "covering" for having got a 9-5. If she were just working I think it's far more likely that she'd have moved to occasional insta/Facebook posts and maybe a once a week YT video. Most creators built channels while working a full time day job so managing one 15 minute vid a week for an experienced YouTuber would be a doddle.

I'm not comfortable with this situation. It's odd, out of character & far too longstanding at this point to have been a bit of a bid for attention.

It can but Lauren was very vocal about how much she hated working in retail. It would be a strange move for someone with such fragile mental health.
I Remember she had a similar break in 2019 and spoke about taking antidepressants but I think this crisis has been brewing for a long time (staying up all night editing videos was a red flag imo). Lauren loved posting online so it does correlate to the depression symptom of losing interest in things that used to bring you joy.
