I watched it today, I had to make a thread!
I was 2 when the first movie came out, I’m 33 now with a 3 year old and took him,

It was honestly so good!!! One of the best out of the lot (apart from the 2nd )

I cried when
Jessie found that Emily called her own daughter Jessie

But it was great!

I cried at that bit too 😭 not as much as at the end of 3 though, that part still gets me now and I have to leave the room!
I'm 37 now and also have a 3yr old so I think this felt more impactful to me as a parent and imagining that happening to my little boy. Now I've made myself teary again 😂

The end of 3 and When She Loved Me still get me

Oh I saw it last night and really wanted to love it but felt it really should have been editted a little more? Some bits were long and over done, it could have been tightened up. I don't think it was a cynical move to make $$, I feel the makers had a story and a valiant message but some magic was missing for me. However the 3 under 10s I went with (2 being my neice and nephew who are always handed a screen by my sister in law) loved it!

I have a couple of niggles
why did no parents question the "girls" messages to each other, no online safety message for the young audience

Other then that I really enjoyed it

Also wouldn't Bonnie's mum have taken the toys from Blaze anyway when Bonnie said she no longer wanted them? My husband said 'this film has jumped the shark' 😂😂

yes! I would have it it were my daughter. The story was good just a few little bits like this needed work.

Very surprised how much I enjoyed this as 4 I couldn’t wait to finish it didn’t hold my attention at all.
Think the lack of parental monitoring was true to life unfortunately.

Yes, I am glad it showed parents on their devices just as much as the kids. A lesson for all (including myself!)
