I haven’t and cba to watch it so what was it just land? Did he say what he was doing with said land?

lots of fields including access to a waterfall. There’s a few buildings and a farmstead. He’s hoping to move onto the land in the future but that might not be for another 4-5 years

he doesn’t but apparently the deal was you either have all of it or nothing. He said he would have been happy with a couple of fields but that wasn’t on the table.
He should basically just try to rent most of the land to a farmer to use. Not an easy thing to do, I admit, a lot of farmers struggle to raise rent money, but otherwise it's just a massive waste of money and land.
surely there was more suitable amount of land near by he could have had

I don't see him moving there. He's got his dream and now I think he'll get bored of it. Just look at the house next door.
All the plans he had and he's done nothing but duck the house up.
The money he's spent on the farm could have went towards actually doing his house and the house next door that I bet Lydia wishes he had just done.
But he wanted cheap labour so didn't go to other people and get more quotes.

He's literally bought it so that he can drive his car and use his phone at the same time, just so he can say to the comment section 'I'm allowed to, I own the land'.

I do wonder why no one else bought it. Developers or another farmer. Wonder if it there is issues somewhere?
Unless Tom is lying there was quite a bit of interest but the seller went with Tom
Will he even ask permission? Probably just do it and then make a big drama about getting a warning from the council.
And as it's farmland, its most likely been sold with an uplift clause, that means if it gets planning permission for development e.g housing etc, he will have to pay additional money to the previous owner.
What happened to it’s for you guys the viewers my family this amazing secret project, wow it’s been dragged on for over a year for some land how boring 🥱 look at me I have all this land I can do what I want now it’s all mine 
it’s gonna be a good few years until it’s anywhere near done what was the point in showing the viewers he should of done it up and then reviled it. I reckon he’s done it for some extra views but I feel like he’s still gonna keep going down every year

Anyone else a bit annoyed how him and Lydia are so far from reality too. When they was talking about people buying land and building 1000s of houses on it, how gosh how dare they give people homes
