I’m fairly certain that most if not all American prisons require an American number to call. Therefore Emma has either kept her number OR she’s got a new one
I agree with you! I was in a similar situation, not dating but I was his pen pal for 4 years, he got out last year and I went over in the summer this year to visit him and his mum, when he first got out he seemed to be doing well, had a job, his mum bought him a car etc, then he started acting strange, I found out he had been using meth again since getting out, using his mums money to buy it (and hotel rooms to sleep with crack whores) - he has POA to his mums money as she has dementia. He would start cutting me off for days at a time, smashing his phone, hanging out with 20 year olds (he’s 49), I haven’t spoken to him in a few weeks as he cut me off, wanted to see the best in him and thought he was genuine but the whole situation has left me feeling deflated. Not saying all these prison relationships/friendships don’t work but I’m my experience I feel this is typical behaviour from a lot of men getting out of prison
