100% fraud! She WANTS him to be disabled, she wants him to have complex needs, she lies and exaggerates to create this image of him which isn’t true. It’s bizarre and concerning.

‘I don’t like to tell strangers he’s autistic’ says Lesley to 5000 strangers……?
I don’t get her at times. She won’t tell strangers face to face he has autism and is struggling right now but will happily tell 5000 strangers on the internet far more intimate details about, A and his behaviours, bad mouth staff and schools and degrade her ex.
Something has happened today which has set her off again, I wonder what that was.

I wondered when Lesley would get her own thread! I can see why she is polarising. Some of her content I like as she is generally well informed and her heart seems to be in the right place. I can see why she is polarising though, she is arrogant. I would hate to be A's teacher! She is a sometimes too woke for my liking too. Not as bad as thatsinglemum / cathyreawrites .... but heading that way.

I too hated the "my child would never do that" it's just a totally blinkered point of view. And actually quite mean to the other child that was involved too.

Yes she's a strange character. I stopped following her ages ago because a a woman of colour I found it very unsettling how she was so fixated on A being blonde and appearing so white, she used to almost show him off on the basis of his whiteness. She was so proud of his physicality, and speaking as a person of colour and dual heritage this is very common and not cool.

How does she have over 5k followers?! 🤯
Cannot get over the passive aggressive and down right rude attitude from her. Totally uncalled for!!
If she doesn’t want any response from the people who follow her, just turn off comments or better still, fuck off social media all together

All this 1:1 will just be developing learned dependency if he constantly is shadowed all the time. Surely a small group setting with provision to meet his need should be sufficient? Why is an alternative not an option? Because she has to be a parent and get him there? Self entitledness.

Absolutely no need for that massive bitchy rant. Depending on the frame and his prescription he may not be able to get them really thin. What a judgy arse hole. She always gets in there when she’s bought things too like the items from next sale making sure we all know they’re not for her house for when A goes to his dads.

I haven’t followed this one for a long time because I found her so toxic to watch - glad I’m not the only one. I also felt that she massively exaggerated the extent of her son’s support needs… and that was way back in 2018 or 2019.

Prob angling for a nursemum style go fund me
I thought all the beef she had with nursemum was because nursemum took the piss with the gofundme’s and our Leslie is so much better than that although I can see so many similarities with the munchausens!

Just based on videos he doesn’t come across as autistic to me but that’s just my opinion… he seems very social, smart beyond his years and has great communication for his age. I would bet that she’s exaggerating his needs for attention and of course money (dla)…
Autistic kids can be social, smart and articulate though. If you met my daughter you’d probably think I was out of my mind, getting her diagnosed. Once you get to know her you start to see the subtle traits, though.

I also believe that Alfie is autistic but his support needs don’t seem to be nearly as high as L portrays. School will see to that though. If they don’t think he needs intense support, they will say so.

The amount of Instagrammers begging for cash handouts from their followers now is staggering. It’s not just Lesley, although she’d ask for money to take her self clothes shopping if she could get away with it.

The rest of the SEN mum pity party is at it too. Most of their followers are probably in the same financial position if not worse. There is no shame in some people.
I bet they’re all claiming for DLA too which isn’t means tested. It’s not amazing but my kids get just under £100 each a week. We use it to pay for extra activities (SEN activities tend to be more expensive) and for replacing things like tablet screens when they break from having meltdowns, as well as particular foods (one is a very fussy eater).

She’s so up her own ass it’s unreal. It’s not about you Leslie, he’s not doing it to annoy you, as someone has said, life happens and things can’t always be on the dot to suit you hun. Be grateful your beautiful son has a dad who is consistent in his life. Put whatever bitterness to hold onto and let it go for the sake of your son because as he grows he will 100% become aware of it. I had a child who when younger asked for his dad constantly but unfortunately he prioritised drugs and women over my child.
I cannot stand these women who make it all about them and have the poor me mentality. I get coparenting can be difficult and frustrating been there and got a wardrobe full of T-shirts but putting it all over Instagram your disdain for your child’s father is only hurting your son in the long run.
Let go of the control strings ffs!

Of course she loves all holidays, the days about her! Her attitude really is entitled, brash and narcissistic. She really does believe she is better than anyone else. Why has A got to celebrate each holiday just to ‘love love’? Love is an everyday thing, that first require lavish gifts and money. Very superficial thinking by her. Highlighted how her life is dictated by ‘stuff’.
She is obsessed with people getting her presents. So materialistic!

Appears she’s had a girl based on some of the comments. Bit of a dick move from her friends when she’s not announced the gender

Has anyone noticed the way she speaks to A? She puts this weird fake voice on like she’s speaking to a baby…. And A sounds like a perfectly normal 5 year old when he speaks back, the way she talks to him just seems very condescending and unnecessary like she’s trying to prove a point ‘I have to talk to him in this stupid baby voice because he’s autistic’ …no you don’t Lesley

100% This! A seems able, socially and communication too. I do fear she puts a very high level of exaggeration onto him
