Only way I can think of a suitable answer is how the Trackers interact with them through their videos. Considering Tim always says 'we' it's like he is including his viewers in his trip to the parks when he hasn't brought anyone else along with him. Also they engage their followers to comment, then use those comments as talking points in the next video. The viewers feel like they are actually friends, and maybe for some it's because their kids ask them to send a letter to them because they are people on the TV who are entertaining and fun to watch.
Aside from that, I don't get why people would send them things that cost money, unless it's to get free advertisement for their product, which would make good business sense, if they opened the PO Box more often.
This, but I stopped feeling good and like I'm friends with them very quickly. They started seeming very fake to me. I mean, who knows how someone really is when the camera is off. However, when they started subscribing to all those food boxes and wanting their views to also, so they could get free money for it. It makes me angry that their fans are taken in by them.

Then that $2000 sweater was the last straw for me. I'm like seriously? I understand if he can afford it, then fine. But don't act like it's no big deal and that you have $2000 to just throw around for something that's not going to get much use in Florida.

I just watched a small part of the last live mail vlog. Just wanted to look and see if they still had mail to open. Honestly, I was disgusted and embarrassed by/for them. How could they let that much mail pile up and how long has it sat there? Their fans were sending them gifts and to not open or acknowledge it until presumbly months/years later is disgusting! As someone who lives in Scotland and has family in the states postage is not cheap, what a waste of money for the people who sent gifts in good faith. If we were not in the midst of a global pandemic and they weren’t struggling for content I wonder how long the mail would have been left unopened. Rant over!
I should add I used to like their theme park vlogs, I love Florida and havent been for a couple of years so got my Disney fix via them. The pandemic and their home vlogs has opened my eyes to them.
They closed the PO box around 3 years ago, it may be closer to 4 years at this point. They just let it stock up and couldn't give 2 shits to open it. All the food is expired and the letters and items aren't even relevant anymore. What's worse is people in the Trackees page on Facebook are SO EXCITED that Tim and Jenn finally read their letter and want them to reopen the box so they can send them more stuff to go to waste.

Me too! Well at least I was until I got Covid-19, couldn't smell or taste anything for a few weeks and now most things taste and smell like sewage so the diet is pretty limited!

On the actual subject tho, I really feel for that kid for having a camera on his fave 24/7, I get that they suffered (or 'suffered') fertility issues and they are happy he's here but come on. And don't get me started on that pathetic PO Box business
If I remember correctly when Jenn was pregnant they said don't expect to see the baby on our channel too much. Fast forward and he's the center of attention, they're milking him for everything he's worth. All because the stans NEED to see him, it's so pathetic. If the channel is still around when he starts talking I hope he tells them to get the camera out of his face.

Ok, so I broke down & watched the video with the current set of friends they are taking advantage of. I just had to see this ridiculousness for myself. I haven't watched them since probably April. I quit them cold turkey after years of daily viewing because I was over their fear mongering in the early days of the pandemic. I googled "TheTimTracker annoying" because I thought I couldn't possibly be alone. Lo and behold, I found Guru & all the past Twitter drama, etc.

That video. I mean, is that what they have been putting out the past few months? GAG. Who would be entertained by that? It was the stupidest pile of crap. Paint drying would be more interesting. I ended up skimming because I couldn't take it.

First, Jackson is absolutely adorable. I loved that stage with my kids. Old enough to have personality, but not mobile enough I have to be running after them all day. But 90% of the vlog was the camera shoved in his face while his parents make stupid voices at him. Also, for better or worse you can tell that kid is already getting used to constantly being on camera. I'm a mom. Plus a foster parent. I LOVE kids. I do not want to watch this. That isn't family vlogging & it isn't entertaining or compelling.

Second, clean your freaking house. I don't believe in houses needing to look like a model homes constantly. Homes (especially those with children) should looked lived in. At one time my husband & I were raising 8 fosters plus our 3 bio. Our house was 100x cleaner & more organized than that house. No excuse.

Third, that picnic was all kinds of WTF. I don't understand masks in the open air while social distancing with another couple who also hasn't left their house since March (or at least minimally). Some may disagree with me on that, but I feel that's overboard. And when they were packing up...you would have thought they were freaking camping. When Tim panned around the yard to show them all packing up, I was like...is this the Oregon Trail? Did I miss something?

TL;DR Watched the first time since April. I'm just ranting because they are ridiculous.
Yeah they have absolutely no consistency. There was no reason why any of them needed to wear masks if they were outside, and on the opposite ends of the yard. Also, it was beyond awkward when they showed the "picnic" as Dim and Jenn only conversed with themselves as Nicole and Jim just sat by themselves. I get maybe some of their friends don't want to be videotaped, etc, so then edit the entire picnic out.

I don't get why he gets the same food every year, like have a bit of variety to it at least, some older followers would want to know about the other food. I mean fine he doesn't like seafood, but still he should try something different.
Bingo.

I get people have favorites, but he as a local has the ability to try anything and everything...however he always orders the same thing every festival.

Bratwurst in Germany
Pork Slider in Hawaii
Carrot Cake at Hops & Barley
Filet in Canada
Slider at Flavors From Fire

I mean to be fair to Tim, it's not like he's the most adventurous eater so I'll post this meme again.

If Tim is that uncomfortable going to the parks, he shouldn't be going to the parks, there is no point in him risking his own health for views if he feels that way. Plus in the Florida heat, you need to take off your masks in those safe zones, there have been vlogs that show medical staff around people who have passed out because they wore them so long without a break.
Again he's doing it for clicks and views, but I think their followers will want to see more genuine vloggers going about the different parks instead of him, showing them resting in the mask free zones, describing the social distancing that is going on and if it's that bad some vloggers do just up and leave because it's not worth sticking around - but even with the negative points the parks can take that and use it to put more training on the staff or even get more staff on the ground to make sure the rules are being followed.
I went off there, my main issue is if Tim talks consistently about being uncomfortable in the parks, he shouldn't be at the parks and stick to the home vlogs, even if it costs them money, surely their own health is more important?

Well today’s vlog was surprising !
Jenn (with as previously mentioned with clean hair), and “ the little buddy”, actually venture out into public!
They are actually eating in public with one another party ( cue the psycho music), within a 1 mile radius and do not seem to be concerned that those ceilings fans could be circulating the same air that said other party are breathing!
Well, there you go!

Landed themselves right in it with the PO Box haven’t they. You’d think they’d have the smarts not to draw attention to new stuff and open a can of worms...but annnywaaay.

I hope they get sent a truck-full of tat and shite from their stans now! 😂

I dunno. They're entertainers, at the end of the day. People watch the content they put out for free. Sure, they get ad revenue and such, but if people feel like they've had value in watching their stuff, donating a few bucks here or there is just acknowledging the hundreds of hours of free content they have given that people have enjoyed.

I personally have no problem with donations or superchats. I also don't think it's unethical to keep that money - YouTube IS their bread and butter after all. You don't expect people to give away their Christmas bonus, do you?

I've never given a penny but I absolutely see why people do. I've donated to artists online who have given me free joy over the years with their comics and creations. Same difference to me.

For all the ridiculousness of the Trackers channel at the moment I've reached the worst point from a channel owners point of view...I've stopped caring. They've become irrelevant. I probably wont unsubscribe incase one day they have a video of actual interest but there are far better and knowledgeable disney vloggers out there and their non disney ones offer very little. I thought they were going to go after the parent influencer niche but they dont seem to really have any useful content in that area aside shoving the camera in their child's face.
the best thing about the vlogs are @peteykirch ’s recaps here 😂
I usually decide if I’m gonna watch based on that 🤣😂

Okay, so I’m no psychologist, but I’m thinking that all this crazy behaviour really is just an act for attention! I mean that backyard picnic was beyond ridiculous and not using condiments on his hot dog, but has no problem going to hosted restaurant. Let’s face it, everybody’s talking about it.
Today’s staycation, he wants to show us, that he really is just a normal guy, surprising Jenn with $1000 plus hotel, paying out of his own pocket....awwwh! 🤮, the Stans love him even more now🤮. Again ridiculous behaviour letting “Buddy”, crawl around the floor, but has to have the front row on big thunder so no one would scream in front of him

I also disliked Jenn the first time I watched her. (This would have been around 2012 or 2013.)

She acted drunk, played stupid for no reason, and just came across like a loudmouth b*tch who would start a fight with you for no reason. (any woman who has gone out to bars, clubs, etc. in college or as an adult generally know that kind of gal well).

To the contrary, Tim seemed normal, down-to-earth, and fun to me.

Obviously, over time, my impression of Tim has changed. However, my initial impression and current opinion of Jenn never has.

Yes, but it's not his only source of income. Plus, he doesn't got to outrageously expensive dinners like V&A and expects his viewers to pay for it.

He did stay at some DVC resorts, but that was gifted to him by viewers that weren't going and either had to use the points or they would lose them. He's always up front about that.
I have no issues with Nate at all, just to be clear! Him and Adam are my favourite genuinely nice guys.

Do they actually have a nanny? Iv not paid enough attention tbh. But I do find it hard to imagine Jen coping while Tim's out at the parks.
There was speculation on Guru that they have a nanny, but I agree with 2020 Planner. They can be very selective with what they show on their videos. If they had a live in nanny they have someone that knows everything about their personal lives. That person can then go and tell the truth about Tim and Jenn. Of course the stans would think that they were lying and were trying to get back at the Trackers for firing them.

Also that Jenn wouldn't want any of Jackson's attention off of her and Tim would be jealous of Jenn and the nanny.

I knew they never closed the P.O. Box. Like someone said above, they would never give their home address out to the theme parks, hotels, etc. so they still needed some place to have companies send travel stuff, swag, etc.

This newly revealed lie reminds me of the one that has been talked about repeatedly on Guru.

Back when they did their first-ever Disney cruise, they harped from the very first video revealing that they got #hosted for a Disney cruise that it was Jenn's first-ever cruise and she was blabbering on about being so nervous about what to expect, being on a ship, how she was going to feel, she asked friends what it'd be like, what to wear, etc.

Multiple times during the cruise vlogs, Tim would ask about it being her first cruise and how she liked it.
At the end of the cruise, he asked - now that you've been on a cruise, how did you like it, blah blah blah...

EVERYTHING giving the impression we were watching things through the lens of someone who had never cruised before - Disney or otherwise.

Then, when they did their recap video, the first things out of their damn mouths was literally - "you know how we said it was our first cruise? well, actually we have gone on a cruise before but that was like 20 years ago and so it doesn't count."

 they are such liars.
There was also the bit that it turns out Timbo was already on a Disney cruise, let alone any other cruise. He got a lanyard that was meant for repeat cruisers, while Jenn got the first time lanyard.

Tim has been the ONLY real negative vlogger so far. I watch just about all of them, Molly, Resort TV1, Cory Meets World, Adam the Woo, even Michael Kay. All of them have expressed that it is different but they are all still fairly positive and make you want to return to the parks. Resort TV1 has made no secret on their live streams that they still aren't super comfortable eating inside the restaurants or even going on Carousal of Progress when there were a lot of people waiting but other than that, have been positive. Even that they don't really harp on, they say it and move on. Tim is taking it to the absolute extreme.
Even WDWNT which is super critical of Disney has had nothing but positive things to say with the measures Disney has created.

I thought they had to at least #ad on posts? Or maybe that is just Instagram? I have a friend who has a large enough following to be gifted things, etc & I thought she stated it has to be mentioned in the caption & in the video as well (if it's IGTV) to be legal?

But I digress....back to Timothy & Jennifer. Why would you NOT mention it? Sweet Jesus, no one is gonna flinch if an influencer gets something for free. They have officially proven that their convictions stop when it comes to a free meal. These are the same people who wouldn't even order take out. We've come a long way from "you won't find that kind of content here".
I think they dont mention when they're comped stuff is because they want to make it seem like they are everyday people and do stuff that everyone can afford. Like they used to be before they sold out. Course that went out the door when they moved in to a 450k house in a gated community and couldn't pass up an ugly $2000 Gucci sweater that he probably wore twice.

I have been watching Tim and Jenn for several years and have always enjoyed getting my fix of the Florida parks in between trips, but recently things have been a little odd to say the least

Let me start off by saying that I have no issue with the Trackers having concerns over COVID, Florida’s cases are skyrocketing and theme parks aren’t exactly isolation-friendly. If I was living in Orlando I would certainly be uncomfortable heading to the parks right now.

First of all they were adamant they weren’t going to rush back to the parks, yet Tim was back within a few days of them opening.

If you watch the latest handful of videos that they have posted of Tim returning to the Parks (if you haven’t watched I suggest you do) it’s easy to pick up on some weird things

A) Tim won’t eat or drink at the parks
B) he won’t ride an attraction if it has an indoor queue or is an indoor ride (leaving very few Options!)
C) he won’t go into the shops (which was ‘amusing’ at Disney Springs when he was trying to show new merch and the prices through the windows!)
D) there was also a strange incident at Busch Gardens where he refused to walk through the fan misters - I’m guessing it’s because he thinks it could be infectious?
E) even we he shows the ‘rest areas’ where you can remove your masks safely, he makes a point that he’s not comfortable removing it, even when there is nobody else there.

The vlogs are now basically Tim pointing at things he’s not comfortable doing:confused:

As I said, I have no issue with the caution around the pandemic, but Tim is SOOOO uncomfortable in those parks that he really shouldn’t be there putting himself through it.

it feels very disingenuous and grabby for views.

Also, I find it a little arrogant, if Universal/SeaWorld/Disney etc didn’t think it was safe to eat at their restaurants and ride the attractions with the new policies and distancing in place, they wouldn't allow people to do it - but it feels like Tim think he knows better!

Exactly right. I live in Orlando and just yesterday, Mayor Demings put forth the mask mandate county-wide. Long before that, Osceola County had it. Since I came out of hibernating in late May, I've been to many places throughout the counties (and before Orange's mandate).

In some places, people wore them better than others - for example the Whole Foods in Altamonte was great - most were wearing. Academy Sports in Lake Mary, not so much. Yesterday at IKEA at Millenia, virtually everyone except a literal handful were wearing them. Fresh Market requires them, and again virtually a handful weren't. Publix in multiple counties was like 70 / 30 pro-mask wearing. I also had to get my car repaired at Ford during this time and virtually no one in the service reception area was wearing masks. But now that Orange requires them, they have to wear them too. I also ordered food delivery a bunch of times and it was great. Most simply knocked (i.e. Panera, Tijuana Flats) and left the food at the door.

The point of my rambling? I live here and I still functioned. Safely - with my mask, but still functioned.

The fact that they do not see that you can equally be careful while still going about your business, has been borderline absurd. Did they actually think that they could get it by EATING take-out food? Why would they think they could not walk through a deserted pathway in a park in Dr. Phillips - in the open fresh air - and still have to wear the masks? Do they not watch the local news or do they only get their news through Twitter and IG? It's not a nuclear fallout.

As was referenced in Guru the other day, Tim goes to Busch Gardens and refuses to touch any merchandise, but then touches bathroom mirror effects. Then a next vlog shows him at a Friends pop-up at Pointe Orlando and he's picking up and touching a bunch of stuff in the pop up. Only to then go off in a completely deserted corner with his mask still on with absolutely NO ONE in sight (he called it abandoned there) to give their daily organization shout-out all muffled.

It just doesn't come off as genuine. It comes off as a cross between true paranoia (or perhaps of someone who secretly just wants to stay at home and vlog from the couch because it's easier that way) and forced, fake, over-the-top paranoia to play up to the "stans / fans" to convey that they - and only they - are the only Disney / Orlando vloggers taking this seriously.

I'm an Orlando local (and former CM) who started watching the Trackers back in 2012. I've got LOTS of info / comments on them. LOL ;)
I used to keep up with their thread on inferior sites 😏 but I’d rather have a threesome with Sean and Pete than ever go back to that site of doom!! 😆

I would agree with this, but TIm is taking an AP slot, not a Hotel or Regular Ticket reservation. The bulk of the APs who are visiting the park right now are local hence why the AP pool is so hard to get into, and the Resort allotment is wide open.
I'll play devil's advocate here and surmise there are many local APs who might have a day off and would like to go to the park, but Tim took the spot to walk aimlessly around looking for a friggin hot dog (really, a worthless zero-information vlog) when he could have just done a home vlog.

Though I, myself, won't be going to the parks as an local AP anytime soon, the vloggers taking up these spots during this time are nevertheless yet another reason why I will be very content when entitled-centric Disney vloggers "overtaking" WDW (and to a lesser extent DL) are a thing of the past.
