It will come lovey, just give it time. And when he's older you can tell him all about this nasty time.Worst thing for me to deal with was my son missing out on things I had planned, holidays, toddler groups, soft play, spending time with other children and seeing family. This wasn't the life I'd imagined for him.
Thank you, things are already looking up. I was made redundant after being a 'key worker'It will come lovey, just give it time. And when he's older you can tell him all about this nasty time.![]()
This must be really tough, honestly don't know how I'd have coped if this happened in my 20s as I lived alone in my flat and literally lived for the weekend after working my butt off all week! Pubs are a lifeline for so many and it's so overlooked as 'drinking and partying' but there is a real community thereThe pubs shutting. I live alone, in a flat. I rely on the pubs to see people and socialise, my local I can just walk in on my own and sit and speak to anyone because I know them all. I can’t see my mum because she was a chronic illness, though I will be seeing her over Christmas I have tried my best to stay away. Loneliness is horrible. I think it’s something that has been very overlooked.
I have also worked through the entire office and I can imagine it’s hard furloughed but it’s also been hard working with little interaction the the workplace and also my job is working in an office but I can’t do my job from home either
Yes its been really difficult! And it’s more than just going piss up. I feel sorry for the old regulars who are now retired and live alone too, they go on a daily basisThis must be really tough, honestly don't know how I'd have coped if this happened in my 20s as I lived alone in my flat and literally lived for the weekend after working my butt off all week!
