Absolutely rit, I don't think I'm going to watch any more. 6 episodes in and I'm not gripped at all. I think maybe someone who hasn't read the books could enjoy it but now I've read The Testaments book I just can't cope with what they're doing to it

They've softened this story and tried to make it more paletable, it just feels like a Young Adult version to play on the Disney channel. In the book the stadium events are SO much more brutal. Lydia is kept there for weeks and weeks in filthy conditions. Beaten, broken down. She spends time, about a month I think, completely isolated in a "thank tank" and tortured and starved. The shooting thing is set up differently too, they're given a choice to execute or be executed after the extensive time being beaten and starved and pit against eachother. Join us or die.

Impeccable acting! Aunt Lydia is a survivor , her character arc is incredible. I'm obsessed with this show as I was with HMT
I dont mind it, if its all available I watch in a day or 2 and zone out half way though. This way I actually watch.
Agree with this, I guess it's to stop people signing up for a free trial, binging a particular show they want and then cancelling within the week. Tbf I probably would have done that for this show if it was all available lol I don't have any streaming services but would sign up to watch a specific thing 🫣
Just a thought thanks to tiktok. In the new episode when they are matching the girls to commanders and saying how the need to keep bloodlines separate, well a clip from the original show popped up and first we know Nick and June had Nicole, was this recorded or was she down as Fred's child? The doctors also got handmaids pregnant which would have been off record, so could they fully keep things "clean" in that sense, surely it was happening in other places not just Boston.
I am finding the show slow going, and it feels like the episodes are over in no time without moving the storyline forward
Agree. Just watched the most recent episode and nothing really happened, it's getting tedious
Im really enjoying it personally. Ive not read the books, and dont seek any spoilers so im enjoying that i cant quite work it all out as such (who is who related or not) the Aunt lydia episode was brilliant. Only thing i dislike is waiting a week for each episode 
I am enjoying it so far but there's definitely been a few episodes that have been pure filler with nothing actually happening the whole episode... hoping the story picks up a bit as it will be forgetable quickly otherwise.
Is everyone else waiting for the moment the Dentist is punished I think it will be good

Well it's only taken 9 episodes but I'm finally gripped 
Im wondering if was a kind of forward flashback to next weeks episode? They never explained who it was just a short scene then went into another. Makes sense if follows on from the ending of this one who they are cleaning up
