When you private rent don’t you have to send bank statements or something to prove you can afford it. But I suppose benefits will pay it.

My blood is boiling and I know I should just let them get on with it and not care as I’m I a fortunate position and am very grateful for it. But we work effin hard to achieve a nice life. They do duck all and get it handed on a plate.

I know what you mean - my blood pressure's going up as they're now past just a minor annoyance.
If their 'Cornwall mission' raises money and they don't end up moving, are they going to pay the money back?
And what happened to them being proud people? I can definitely see them setting up a go fund me if they can but is that even legal? Thought it had to be for medical treatment expenses. They're definitely going to pursue this all out - it's not just going to be a few casual we'd love to move to Cornwall comments and you can help us out if you can. But they'll just be expecting donations - they won't do anything to seriously raise funds themselves.
I find it strange how quickly they snapped back into the normal routine after coming home. Zoe away out the the shops and will film a haul. A pile of washing waiting for her. Why does she have to do it? I thought she'd just lost her mother and driven all the way back from Cornwall (which she finds traumatising at the best of times) wouldn't a supportive partner be like: "this has been hard for you- take some time to decompress while I take care of things" not "here's the laundry and by the way we need milk"!?

It's Zoe who insists on being the laundry doer, bathroom cleaner, grocery getter, club runner etc because they all get her out of seeing to the kids. She'll even only take her favourites along with her when she goes out in the car. She truly is a despicable mother.

I'm so concerned for her. Please say she is OK. And this comment. How is moving going to work?. Were you left and inheritance so you can buy somewhere?. Does the council in Cornwall have 5/6 bed homes available?. And won't your older 4 not be eligible to be included so your room entailment will be less.
