Adopted this guy on Sunday. My first ever cat. I was told it takes them a while to adjust and he might hide for ages but nah, he settled in right away and wanted to explore. It's definitely me struggling to adjust! I'm constantly worrying if he's bored or hating it here, and I feel really bad having to go to bed and leave him downstairs alone with no company all night. He doesn't really like hanging out upstairs, I think it's too hot for him.
My husband thinks I'm daft anyway and reckons he's fine but I keep getting all worried and upset about him!

I collected these little darlings before Christmas as fosters. Safe to say I won’t be finding them homes so that’s 4 cats now ..

My fur baby Rosie is 3 today! She’s such a Covid Cat - hates strangers coming to the house and very needy

This is Tilly. She is 3.5yrs old and such a covid cat too. She used to hate strangers, tolerates & sniffs them now as long as they don't stay longer than 20 minutes. So vocial, makes chirping noises all day and will let you know when you must sit down so she can have a cuddle. This is her face when I eat dinner and she can't have any even though she has just been given her food, she feels like I have done her dirty by not giving her my food

Just wanting to show off my foster fail 🥹 This is Picasso and he was the runt in a litter of kittens I handreared through my work It was touch and go on whether he’d survive at first but he’s now nine weeks old and thriving! One of his eyes never fully formed and the other one is cloudy due to chronic cat flu He’s going to be living the pampered life from now on!

My little one eyed bandit Picasso is 13 weeks old now and I can’t believe how far he’s come from the tiny little scabby kitten who first arrived! He’s such a softie and always wanting to cuddle because I’ve handreared him I’m not used to all the love because my Ragdoll is very independent!

Now…

And then

We thought he’d be completely blind but we managed to save his “good” eye and it’s only slightly cloudy now! I’m now the classic vet nurse who owns a cat with a body part missing

My poor baby needs dental surgery

Good luck!! I had to go through this a few months ago and the vet estimated my RonRon would need 4 teeth out - the estimate they gave me sent me to tears! £700!!! They said they wouldn't know the extent until they put him under.

Hours later I go to pick him up, he didn't need any teeth out - just a scale and polish for £200, which annoyingly insurance don't cover.

But at least he's not got any teeth missing! They'll only extract teeth as a very very last resort. Good look to you and puss!

I was scrolling through my photos earlier and found this one of my previous cat - Mocha. He was such a beautiful boy but always had a grumpy look on his face.

This is my Rat.

Rat is five.

Rat comes from Corfu and was a manky street rat but we fell in love while I was on my honeymoon and I took her back to England and it’s been bliss ever since and I love her. My husband isn’t bad either.

Susan's birthday today, she's 10. I've never had a cat as naughty as she was as a kitten but she brings so much fun and love into my little family that I can't imagine not having her cuddling up in between MCDad and I in the morning or screaming through the house on a mission only she knows about.
