Here's Fawlty cat, chilling on my son's lap. They have a love/hate relationship where he teases her and she retaliates (and I end up telling them both off!) He's the only one that can get her to do this though, he picks her up, turns her over and gently rocks her like a baby.

I forgot to post about Pooh's birthday. He's 10 now and still a giant baby. This is one of my favourite photos of my big fella.

Sometimes dogs are in prams due to injuries or they may be recovering from surgery. I’m a vet nurse and often owners will pop their dogs in a pram after they’ve had orthopaedic work so they can still get out in the fresh air! I had one owner take their dog up a mountain in the Lakes in her pram after cruciate ligament surgery 😂

I don’t understand why anyone would do it for an able-bodied animal though, unless it’s to easily transport them as mentioned above!

Anyway, here is more Darwin to keep my post on topic 😂🤍

Still not 100% sure in her name but Parsnip has warmed up to her now. Parsnip went and lay next to her and slept this morning, took the picture from far away and once I moved closer they moved.

My Nala, when she is cute! Not being a bird killer! I’ve saved a few birds but dread to think how many she has had! I’ve found 2 skulls in a flower bed… seems to be her bird spot!

It's Thor's birthday today, he's 9. He's very much a dad's boy and definitely prefers to get his cuddles from my husband but I do get the occasional snuggle and head boop from him.

I didn't know there was a cat thread! Just spent a wonderful 20 minutes cooing over all the beautiful kitties 😍

Because we live out in the countryside we find that a lot of nasty people tend to dump their unwanted animals out here. We live beside my husband's uncle's farm and about a year ago we noticed yet another semi-feral cat there. We've been leaving food for him since then, but in the last few months he's decided he wants to come and spend the days in our garden (still don't know where he goes at night.) He's also gone from running away while you fill his bowl to running to you every time you open the door, to see if you've got food for him 🤣 Still won't quite let me touch him yet but today he let my husband put wormer on his back. Progress!!
