Bradley Walsh for Bond.
Joe Pasquale to play Q.
Christopher Biggins in full Widow Twanky regalia to play Miss Moneypenny.
Noel Edmonds in a bald cap as Blofeld.

Yes they need to leave Spectre and have a whole new story. I agree I used to like the different Bond Villain's in the older films, we had Jaws, Odd job, Mr Big.

I think Barbara will be too busy knocking Amazon executives about (metaphorically) at the moment to be too focused on the next Bond actor.
I bet she is. Thank goodness her and Michael have overall control. Amazon want to do all kinds of shite and spin offs with it.

If the 007: Road To A Million thing is anything to go by, I'm not surprised BC is holding on tight to the character.

(Some very positive comments about Stuart Martin under the DM article)

I know most people hate Die Another Day, but I honestly kinda like it for it's sheer naffness, campness, ridiculous story and the attractive Korean guy. 😂😂
Die another day has some real strengths in Rosamund Pyke and Toby Stephens, and the Korean guy. I really like the theme song too. Even Madonna wasn't THAT bad for a small scene. For me it was the terrible CGI that did it for me. But I'd still take it over most of Daniel Craigs lol

But I'm one of the odd ones that actually likes Quantum of Solace

I'm surprised they have handed it over to Amazon

I feel like James bond is over for me now, I have no faith that amazon will look after the franchise

Amazon will pump it to death for "content", spin offs, and all that rot. The films struggled to be good even one every few years, Amazon will kill it. Don't think there is any IP they've handled particularly well so far.

The DM have gone full on with several articles about ATJ today too.

I'm hoping he's just got a good publicist. He's not for me and he looks older than 33.

I like all the Bonds tbf.

I love the Dalton and Connery films. I have a very soft spot for Roger because he was my Bond growing up. Brosnan was very acceptable. Craig bought the franchise up to date and Lazenby is no where near as bad a people make out (plus OHMSS is a great film)

I don't see Nicholas Hoult at all, he is too quirky an actor.

Sam clafin is a good shout actually

Word on the street is that they want a younger Bond this time so will be someone under 40. They want to step away from the ‘too old for this shit’ storylines and have a younger, more energetic Bond next time.
Dream casting for me would be Aidan Turner but he’s 39 so might be too old based on this new criteria.

Seeing as this has turned more into a James Bond thread whilst there is no news on a new Bond I see George Lazenby has announced he is retiring completely even down to no longer signing autographs. I believe he had a bad fall last year which may have prompted his decision. He was always a very colourful character who made some odd career decisions. He was also never short of an opinion to two. Famously there was beef between him and Pierce Brosnan and in 2022 he made some inappropriate and homophobic comments that got him axed from a music tour.

I'd be surprised if he is being allowed to get away with posting such an obvious link. Normally these things have very tight security and NDAs.
TBH it probably proves it's not him. This is just a way of drumming publicity. The 'real' James Bond won't post anything until Eon announces who it is.

The gap between Dalton and Brosnan wasn't planned. It was caused by legal issues. There should have been a third Dalton film but by time the legal stuff was sorted Dalton was out of contract. Dalton said he would do one more but Cubby wanted more so they parted ways and then Pierce finally got his chance.

They're probably still trying to work out how to bring Bond back after the dreadful No Time To Die. 🤬 🤬
For me that was the worst Bond film ever and that's saying something given Quantum of Solace was absolutely shite.
