The words “exacerbate” and “venal” and how often I see them used. There are plenty of synonyms to use but I think people just tend to copy one another. Vile and vein, too, they make me shudder. Awful. All is long-forgiven, “moist”. 💋

When people are on stage or giving speeches or being interviewed or whatever, and they say something and then wait for laughter or applause. The pause and then the audience starting to clap and whoop makes me feel ill 🥴
I really like Benedict Cumberbatch but I remember him being a culprit of this when being interviewed.

Biggest ick for me right now is post-winter litter smushed and twisted and blowing all over the place. But I’m seeing a number of people taking it upon themselves to do big cleanups, bless them. 💖

Due to circumstances, I had to get a cab home. Tempted to get out and walk in the rain as the driver is chewing gum like a cow, open mouth and the noise is making me sick.

Omg I just got the biggest ick. A woman in the post office in front of me had an evri parcel to send for vinted and she had printed out the label and she said to the girl behind the counter “I need to send this parcel with this” and she asked how to do it and flapped the print out in the air! the girl said you can stick it on with cellotape. She said “have you got any?” And the girl did it for her. Fuck me sideways. These people walk amongst us.

My husband does a thing.
The thing he does gives me the ick.

When a musician or actor he/we like dies, he essentially goes through their back catalogue for days.
He’s been wfh today and I’ve been off work sick; all I’ve heard all day is Sly and the Family Stone from I got up! Sly Stone died yesterday.
And don't tell us; he hadn't listened to him for ages before that?

Went to the theatre at the weekend and fancied one of the actors so followed him on insta, he has just posted a reel of him having a driving lesson (as a fully grown adult). Turns out one of my icks is a man who can't drive (unless for good reason such as on medical grounds).
I feel a bit like that. I kind of get it if they live in a city with decent public transport but I don't want to be the one who does all the driving.

A girl I went to school with is 36 and pregnant. Her 16 year old daughter is pregnant too but further along. So her grandchild is going to be older than her child.
Haha, my mum and her mum were pregnant at the same time, so I have an auntie the same age as me 🙈

I’m the opposite annoys me when it’s full of kids, I was 6 when the first HP come out. It’s for ME not some 8 year old who didn’t grow up with Harry, or have to wait years between books and argue theories in the playground 🤣
My sister is more like you and gets it entirely whilst laughing at the horror that's written across my face every time.
