Yes, seems some people are very late to the party. Hope it goes mainstream though so no more young girls are reeled in under false pretences.
I think there's been a thread about this before. I can't remember what the girls were called, something like Dubai portapotties. It all got rather weird and I caution you not to google for images

It would be good to also see a tv documentary about this. An exposé on the realities (not necessarily exposing identities) of some of the ‘glamourous’ Dubai influencers and their lifestyles.
As Piff Paff Puff says, it would be good to show impressionable girls the not-so-glamourous side that influencers try and keep secret.

Coincidentally, a friend who teaches in an international school in another Gulf country, has just come back from a holiday in Dubai with friends on a family holiday with children. They seem to have had a whale of a time at water parks, theme parks, eating food from all different countries and cuisines, window shopping in the malls etc. A completely different side of the place.

I've lived in Dubai for the best part of a decade now and its just a widely accepted fact now that the place is awash with escorts and the like who tout themselves as "influencers" and "models" in every bar, every restaurant, every gym, but you'd be surprised though, alot of these girls are not the vulnerable timid women you would be led to believe, they like the lifestyle/the holidays they go on/the gifts they get.. We're talking 6 digit gifts. Alot of them are largely in control. Obviously not all operating on this scale and not condoning it but rightly or wrongly you just become accustomed to it happening around you and eventually you forget its even there, its not being shoved in your face there's seedy people in every city I guess.Anyone know how to get behind the paywall?
