Dana briefly featured in last vlog. In the kitchen trying the rhubarb jam and again at Cyril's to do PJ's job while SJ did her interview.

Good one - I was working on - I am a guest - get me out of here - featuring the jam specialists as first to escape.

Nobody could be bothered to iron the creases out of the tablecloth.
Nobody could be bothered while trying for dead flower arrangement humour to edit out - shutters in such a sad state. Outside furniture so crappy - I have better outside furniture and I would expect better from a chateau - Patter ons...see your money get better seating.

Wait - the chapel, which got so many puters in with donations - back burner??? Or are they doing research in Italy - wait for the vlog SJ "this little chapel reminds me so much of Lalande - we can do this"..No SJ you can not.

Oh....urgh, poor Ian got flashed and a face full every time she raised her arms, here you can see the point he screams 'stop stop my eyes are bleeding' ....

Just to warn you, as soon as restrictions lift a bit, all the Lurgys will start circulating again!! The U.K. is full of bugs going around, no one knows if they have flu, a cold, tummy bugs or the dreaded Covid.Testing is common place for every symptom. ItS the height of the summer for us, usually the healthiest time of the year, now the unhealthiest I have ever known!

Never thought I'd suggest that a grown woman should put her pants on before meeting with builders.
It occurs to me that guests show up for the theatrics at LaLaLand and would be disappointed if Steppy behaved in a decent normal manner. It must be exhausting to put on a show all the time.
That's what I'm telling myself, anyway because surely she's not like that, really... @Clara Burnett ??

Oh dear..... thanks for the heads up ! I get my flu jab every year but you can still get colds etc.

The significant other who waves hubby off to work (Ian) will be thrilled to see this clip. It is one thing to humiliate yourself on a world wide platform. It is another to make an audience out of your builder. Another show to pitch to reality TV - I am a handyman - get me out of here. So much insulation - time to fix those blow open windows and doors Fanny!

felt a bit off when guests hear it...heavens imagine if any of them did get sick LOL?
meanwhile it was Phillip's manky handy all over the plates that would have made them ill. Also did no one notice around the end of the Dan cooks vlog, Phil in the kitchen sans mask? SJ is clearly jealous of Dan since he is the sleeper.. he is talented, loved and real...things she can't buy.

Yes that's so true, everybody's got the sniffles here . Covid seems to be presenting as a cold bug now for people who've been vaccinated. Confusing. The lateral flow tests are readily available for free, but sometimes inaccurate.
Hospitalisation and deaths are lower and the fear of Covid is receding. Life is pretty much getting back to normal, still some social distancing and mask wearing in crowded indoor spaces, and we can't really go abroad, too much risk of being quarantined on return. I'm going work at a socially distanced festival next week and I am looking forward to it, but will still be careful. . Life feels better but I just hope we don't get a new variant which gets through the vaccine.

I think both Natti and SJ know Marie was a poor cook and are trying to make Dan look less qualified as a chef than he is. I know if I were Dan I would make up any excuse not to do this again. Have to keep in mind that Dan needs his job at the chateau and has to take their crap.......for now anyway. I can't see him staying.

Quiet neighbours, no barbecueing, no ghettoblaster, no complaining about weeds...........
They could be hoping to try another YT angle...I bought a Chateau in France and its haunted - see who moves the furniture - appears in the windows and walks the halls at night...oh its just SJ from shatoo lala land...another drop in a chateau special.

Yes, I think that role play was in the defense of chick pea Marie - when I first read your post..I thought you said she was a - poor chook LOL not cook but actually both work well as a quote!

For a woman who'll drop €1500 on a Thermomix and €200 for a Smeg kettle, that kitchen is really under equipped. At the very least, ask Dan for a basic list of supplies. No one wants blue shutter paint on their dessert glaze.

Well said..I keep thinking about ALL the spices, condiments people send them that never feature in any of Marie's meals..she just looked at the pictures and opened another can of chick peas..calling the Thermomix "mini Marie"is an insult to an appliance I have had for 10 years and does more than she ever did.

Would anyone who is receiving a salary of over 30,000 per month, present their monthly report to those who are essentially her employers, dressed like that and in the middle of having her hair bleached? She then accosts others who work for her for verbal updates on their work, for which the patrons (employers) are paying, but those people have not been told in advance that she's going to do a report. No doubt the fans/patrons will think it's cute and amusing. It is extremely unprofessional both to present her report in such a way and to see employees, particularly male ones, dressed like that. It is unbelievable that she thinks it's acceptable to do that. If all the employees and patrons think they are part of a big CLL family, then, I suppose that's why they think it's OK and it's probably a planned tactic on her part for that reason. She doesn't plan the content but she does plan her appearance! In any normal circumstances, it would be regarded as very disrespectful of both her "employers" and her employees.

So, the sheep wool has not been washed and some of it was sheared "many years ago"! You'd think they could have washed it before Cara came. Goodness knows what condition it will be in!

SJ is going to Tuscany with BJJ and Vivienne and meeting Potty and Ruthy, what fun. In the meantime, the poor volunteers and Nati, who seems to be the only staff member still there, will be running the B & B! Presume Dan will be doing the cooking?
