What bothers me more than the begging for more money he is certainly not entitled to (if that's even possible, shame on him) is the endless comments by those crazy fans who are all raving about him not having to explain his sexuality. Yes he does. He needs to explain why it was okay for him to pretend not to be gay when that was more profitable, pretend to be the perfect couple with SJ. He needs to walk that walk of shame, because he needs to know it is his own insecurities and greed that has gotten him into this situation. He should rid himself of the delusion of being role model material. My goodness. This was utterly shameful, what a shambles. A grown man should have some pride and self respect and sort out his own finances. That cottage is very small and he has others that help him with the work. There's nothing to stop him from getting a job. He's young and healthy, he could find a job where he doesn't need to speak French. He could then work on the cottage at weekends and if Andrew is staying free of charge, he could also help with the work. Look at Dan, working for someone else, then going home to work on his house as well as taking care of a family. I hate seeing these people who never, ever consider getting a job, just making a few videos about their lives and expecting strangers to pay for everything. On top of that, he got his cottage free of charge presumably. Dan paid for his house. Anneliese seems to have set up a mobile hairdressing business (at least, I hope she's not doing it for free!), why couldn't he do something like that?

Summary
Admits a huge break in videos when he was in Madrid.
He's now in a relationship.
Says he's gay. He's not in the closet. He's been out for 18 years.
His friends & family never had a problem with it. He chose not to talk about it because he felt it was unimportant.
Started talking to who he thought was a nice guy in February. Visited him in Madrid for 5 days. He went back & booked a 2 week stay. When he arrived it was a bit strange. The man avoided him. He "messed him about". The man conned him out of money & then avoided him afterwards.
He met someone else in Madrid & they got on really well. Spent a week together. He was due to go back to France & the man asked him to stay another week & then another week & then another month. It cost him a fortune to stay there & he blew through his savings. He had to come back to the chateau to make videos for money.
He went back for 2 weeks to see the guy. He thought they had something special, but the guy told him he was no longer interested. Michael wanted to remain friends. It was during this trip that he met his now boyfriend Andrew at a nightclub. Andrew doesn't speak much English. He's from Columbia. He'll introduce Andrew in the next episode.
Financially he hasn't recovered from his time in Madrid. Both of his accounts are empty. His Patreon is for renovating the cottage. He explains he may get less per month than what his Patreon lists. He needs to have a staircase made by hand because of the cottage's high ceilings.
He owes Stephanie 500 euros. His YT revenue has dropped & he needs to pay for this staircase.
The cottage won't be finished anytime soon because of his debt. He asks for donations to help because he feels stuck being unable to do anything.
