Thanks @Freesia54 I thought I knew most of the inmates names, but I hadn't heard of her. I've always had a little soft spot for Dan, so I couldn't fault her for that 😎 Amaury, on the other hand, nah
At least Dan looks like he showers, shaves his beard and washes his hair and clothes. I don’t know where this all happens. But those pigs at Lalande always looks so dirty, themselves and clothes.

The flock may experience stress and confusion due to the loss of their leader, as sheep are social animals that rely on flock dynamics.

Impact on the Flock After a Ram's Death
The death of a ram can significantly affect the dynamics and well-being of a sheep flock. Here are the main consequences:
Stress and Confusion
  • Loss of Leadership: Sheep are social animals that depend on a leader for guidance. The absence of the ram can lead to stress and confusion among the flock.
  • Behavioral Changes: The flock may exhibit signs of distress, such as increased vocalization or restlessness, as they adjust to the loss of their leader.
Management Adjustments
  • Social Structure Changes: The flock may need time to establish a new social hierarchy without the ram. This can lead to temporary instability as the remaining sheep adjust.

What are the immediate behavioral changes in a sheep flock after a ram dies?

After a ram dies, the immediate behavioral changes in a sheep flock can include increased agitation and stress among the ewes, as they may feel a loss of social structure and protection. The flock may also exhibit changes in their grazing patterns and may become more vocal or restless as they adjust to the absence of the ram

fan is a forking sociopath. WHY on earth does she continue to have animals?!? She needs to rehome ALL of them, as she is a shyte owner who just uses them as a backdrop for her YT videos. It's cruel.

I think it’s time to get a livestock guardian for the property… at least one… although two would be best. It would protect the sheep, the peacocks, and the property in general.

I watch a young woman from The Netherlands who, along with her brother, has purchased an abandoned farmhouse in Italy (Piemonte, I think). She puts out a weekly vlog, on Sundays, and I don't always get to it on the day she publishes, so I watched it today. They lived on a farm in The Netherlands, so have always had animals and chickens around. The vlog yesterday was about them finally getting chickens. She bought the eggs and showed them hatching, then put together a small hutch for them and made sure it was secure. They set up a camera so that they could see if anything was going on in the middle of the night, and sure enough a fox came.....it wasn't able to get into this small hutch, but it scared her enough that she decided to build a larger enclosure to house the chicks in their original hutch, made sure it was secure and, because it's temporary (they're awaiting plan approval and hope to be able to start renovations by the end of the year - Italy is S-L-O-W), she did not put hardware cloth down, but instead put a bunch of rocks around the pen to ensure nothing could dig under the hutch and get in. She set up the camera, this time setting it to have the light go off when an animal was seen on camera and sure enough, the fox came around and was there for quite some time, trying to figure out how to get in, but every time the light went on, he scurried away, until daybreak came and he left the area.

Even though she felt she'd done a good job, she went back and reinforced everything again, with locks on the door that would make it hard for the fox to get in....and she set the camera to not only turn the floodlight on, but to also make a loud noise to scare off the fox. She said she wouldn't forgive herself if something happened (she is a real animal and nature lover).

THIS IS WHAT ANIMAL OWNERSHIP IS ABOUT!

I hate Stephanie. It's a strong word, I know, but you can bet that I mean it.

Here's the young woman I watch....sometimes her stuff is sort of boring, but if you want to see this chicken episode and see how she takes great care to make these chicks safe, here it is:

watch the video from 4mins. fan has so much botox in her face that it is totally frozen. Only her lips move and her eyes blink. It reminds me so much of Lou Gossett Jnr's character in the movie Enemy Mine. He wears a mask and only his lips and eyelids move

Well, Steven, it’s 5 O’clock somewhere
I think her aunt and uncle are alcoholics. And why don’t they shoot that damn fox? I looked it up and it is possible to do that in France as in trap them or shoot them between June and March if that is correct information… You just need to check with your local village/town for specifics. She must enjoy the scavenging. Because they haven’t done anything about it.

Why should a fox be killed when they don't do anything to protect their animals from predators? Frankly, if they can't be bothered to even do the slightest bit of prevention - not to mention, just overall day to day care - what makes you think they care enough to find a fox in the wee hours of the morning and shoot it? That would be waaaaayyyyyy too much work for them.

TBH I'm not even sure there is a fox.....did someone see the fox kill the peachicks? Or the chickens......the chickens that are in an itty-bitty enclosure with no ventilation, in the sun, with dirty water bowls that have no water in them?

I'm not angry at you so apologize if my tone appears that I am. I'm just flabbergasted and fed up with their attempts to own any animals at all.

It's a good thing you are honest with your views we are all like family. Under the spiritual laws of karma, lying creates negative energy because the action is driven by an intention to deceive or manipulate. Whether the lie is meant to harm someone or simply to protect oneself, it distorts the truth and generates consequences (karmic debt) that the person must eventually face.

Does anyone ever wonder why we never see the youngest son? It just seems like an odd situation that A was so emotional about his sons coming to visit, but I never see him visit his sons. I know we only see a small portion of their lives, but I always want to know about who I’m supporting. They seem lovely enough, but where is the kid? Did he just leave them behind in the UK? He just seems like he and N are starting a new life….

From today's vlogs Claire's tat of the week comment about renovation vlogs turning into hoarding tat instead the original mission was only eclipsed by Our French Chateau going shopping " not to Limoge for another set of china for 25" but to Brico for a new tractor.

Once again we see fan and Snorter doing diddly squat !!
They did not help with the tents or packing for those sad gift bags or even food for everyone!!! :devilish:

Oh .... but we did see her showing some of her rooms with Ratso who was probably peeing here and there - not that she would care!

Why are there items that belonged to Bag Head being brought back?? For him to have now ?? I wonder - has he sold his share of the place and moving his things out ?? Maybe / Maybe not.

Why oh why Must Scotty Dog be in Scottish costume all the bloody time! That hat ..... I was waiting for the bag pipes.

That poor old sick ram ....... I bet the Vet was not called.

Those poor peachicks and their grieving mama. My wish for all of the birds and animals kept at Lalande is for proper, comfortable and safe shelter (day and night) and thoughtful, compassionate care (if not loving attention). I'm grateful that beautiful, brave Aloysius is no longer suffering (Rest in peace, dear one.). Please, please stop terrifying the sheep every time you move or shear them. They are affectionate friends who not only willingly follow but enthusiastically approach people who are kind to them and bring them treats. The chases which Lalanders and many of their viewers find amusing and entertaining cause the sheep fear and great stress, as well as bring the risk of horrible, often lethal, capture myopathy. Kindness to all beings, please.

Y’all are a lot nicer than I would be about that fox. Slaughtering several rounds of chickens, pea chicks - whatever. I’d either trap him and have him removed - or shoot him. If a predator was killing my animals - and using them as a continual food source - I’d shut that permanently down. It’s not cruel or inhumane to protect your animals.

Are predatory animals not able be relocated or is there an animal control in that country? The fox seems to be the main villain in every animal attack you keep having? It's sad to hear the animals are all dying

I am sorry to hear our favorite sheep has gone on to, I hope, greener pastures. Aloysius will be missed. We are all hoping the chicks are hidden away somewhere. Can you catch the fox and move him far far away? As many chickens and things he has ate, he should be too large to move
