Ornamental chickens....easy prey for foxes how long will this lot last? I think your problem is that no one person is responsible for them. It makes it easy to forget whose done what? You should have fox proofed before you got more or the same thing will just keep happening.

the dump zombies are sooooooo easily fooled by pathological liar Skidmark.

Can someone go get that dang fox and relocate it....please lol

The fence is quite high for a fox to get in, not for a coyote though. Also, hawks and owls. Something is not quite right.

I wonder if a sign on the door “please keep door closed” to the fenced in chicken area will help as a reminder to people entering

I thought the coop door was open, but the fenced area was closed. Confusing.

hard core patron ain’t buying the dump bullshit

I am having a hard time processing a whole flock of chickens being taken in broad daylight without attracting any attention at all

@ludovica8221 Same here !!! I understood the fenced area door was closed but the coop door run was open. More like a pack of coyote or an owl or hawk.

Animals shouldn't be treated as disposable commodities. If you can't look after them properly don't get them.

I love that you are scheduling in breaks for the summer! Good for you!

If I may speak honestly, I think you have been doing too much travelling. Too much endless travelling about does not let your body maintain regular sleep periods, the food is always changing, the body’s patterns are disrupted. Travel is great, but within limits.

The fence around their day pen (basically the whole orchard where they are only supposed to be when fully sipervised) is only waist height I dont think a fox would have bothered to use the gate

Please do not buy any more chickens. You cannot out fox a fox. They know that there are chickens there and they will keep returning

Something you should know about polish and frizzle chickens...they are dumb. Like could drown in the rain looking up dumb. You should get a few garden variety chickens just to raise the collective IQ of the flock. Consider a rooster. Or a guard goose. They will protect the flock even from foxes - of course you still may lose someone, but often the ruckus will alert a human.

i hope you can keep these chickens safe, i knew something must have happened since it was a long time since you had filmed them, poor things

I've heard that something called, "coyote rollers" work to prevent...coyotes -- however look into it and it might help with the fox IDK worth a look. Was concerned and missed you dear Stephanie, take very good care of yourself. We all love you so much

Sad to hear about the poor hens, maybe install a door alarm to ping everyone's devices if the door is open, they also make coop alarms with piercing alarms to deter predators.

Its not the door that's the issue ~ thecoop & run is safe ~ its when they are allowed in the outside orchard, thats the area that's not fox proof so the chickens have to be supervised & checked back into their safe coop.

And there was a roll of green fencing in the back seat, Snorts said they were going to make the yard "fox proof". I cant imagine how a roll of fencing will do that????? It would be easier to start trapping foxes and relocating them. My friend hires a trapper when her flock is threatened. She also got a guardian dog for the chickens. He lives with the flock between him and the rooster her birds have been safe. And did you see Rates 2.0. Run up to the fence?? No one watching him or paying any attention. Dumb asses the lots of them .

what's happening to Fraudie's eyelids? Are they covered in freckles or is that last week's mascara and smudged eyeliner all over them?

freshly cut grass and spring tulips flowering...hmmmmmmmmmm...didn't a tattler expose the excessive lawn mowing and exceptionally long flowering tulips recently?

I think it’s disgusting that there was another chicken massacre. When will the next one happen? It’s bound to. Who is in charge of watching the chickens? I guess the door should never be open. That is just horrifying. I wonder who the lucky person was that had to clean it up? We know it won’t be her and I doubt it would be Philip. OMG. And then he says that it wasn’t anyone from inside the Château that left the door open. Who knows if that’s the truth or not but if it is, people can start guessing who left the door open.

And then one of the comments it notes that it could’ve been a hawk or an owl. I guess they don’t think about what might come from above? Or it’s just all a load of you know what. They really should not have chickens because they are not capable of taking care of them. And who knows what will happen to the second dog. That’ll be the next thing. And then they’ll be off to get a third. I hope not but it seems inevitable.

Hang on Fraudie, didn't you tell your patron's yesterday that you have been too ill to come downstairs? Now you're telling us that you take a little walk everyday. Which is it then?
