I hope you were able to get through the day yesterday with a little help from your friends (here and otherwise!)

On the inside of my medicine cabinet (you'd have to open it to see it) I have taped little quotes that through the years have meant something to me or lifted me up at a time that I needed it. When I had my bathrooms redone 10 years ago, I had them save the mirror so I could carefully get all of the quotes off and tape them back onto my new medicine cabinet, as some of them were clipped out of magazines when I was in my 20's! I was looking at them this morning so that I could find the particular one that reminds me of you - I wanted to get the wording right! I know how sad the situation with your husband has been over these past few years, but I admire your determination to keep living a life that you may not have imagined, but you are carrying on! And we stand with you in friendship and in love!

Do you like that villa?? I find it weird. It's just a farmhouse. No fireplaces, no interesting architecual details. they think there might be fresco's but I doubt it. Even the junk they sorted thru was boring. Nothing of any great value. But a pretty spectacular peice of land.

I was thinking maybe many generations living there and never throwing anything away. The Italians are like that. Even the American Italians are like that. Also, back in the day they didnt have trash pickup so things just got thrown into basements, attics and garages.

She walking back and forth in the background, trying to show that sh'e holding Ratso. Is she American? Probably just a pushy guest desperate to find her way into the vlog.

I guess I meant I have not heard them even mention him, since he came to the farmhouse and fan wore that awful red plaid strapless thing with her chicken cutlets oozing out. I have not seen or heard that he visited since. Not to say he didn't, just seemed to disappear. Maybe his mother wanted them to leave him out of their videos.

I think that's a step too far to speculate about the mayor going to Lielande for the men & Hanni supplying substances just based on her thiness or feeling uncomfortable on camera, & not for anything we have witnessed. Au contraire, Hanni is the only one to volunteer in the community which is how she knows the mayor & probably is the reason he's been at the shitoo.As I mentioned before I have a friend who is celiac & is thin like H but goes swimming year round in the Serpentine before work, has 3 kids & is an economics lecturer & would be highly offended (or amused) to be considered a substance user.I know 2 others with the same disorder who are similarly built but usually healthy - something about the gut not absorbing nutrients efficiently.

I agree with you @Spirit of place . Hanni is an oddball, but I don't think she is on drugs. She's been shown on the vlogs returning to the Shitoo after a run or workout- while she is very thin, she has muscle tone (and is obviously strong enough to carry heavy furniture up and down flights of stairs.). I don't know if she has a gluten sensitivity or is just abstaining from it for health reasons, but the change in her diet could have attributed to her weight loss. In my opinion, Hanni has the build of a marathon runner.

Hanni gets props from me for being involved in the community and is an ambassador for the Shitoo. fan could follow her example in that area.

It was great to see Dan and Amaury together again! Have they seen each other's places yet? I loved seeing Dan's old van again too, it brought back so many memories..I asked him what had happened to it in one of his vlogs but I think he was a bit busy at the time! I miss the music he would always play on his way home!!

I have had much older Ch9dP. It wasn't ruined. Although the corks were in parts really bad there was no leakage, the color was clear and no bacteria had come into the wine. But yes, I would not recommend to keep it much longer.

The prices for Ch9dP are only that high for the big names like Clos de Papes, some Perrin wines, Deus ex machina (for which I don't know if it already existed in 78). I bought them in France and payed a (small) fraction of that price.
