Whoever posted the list patron money and what is being used for I believe the fabric was listed on there for 8000 I’ll have to find the file again I may Have deleted it it. I know I keep harping about repairing the base of the building I don’t understand how you can put such expensive fabrics on the windows and on the walls and on the bed coverings when it’s damp and the building is not airtight. Whatever you say about the other Château owners in this big DIY circle it seems as if they are doing the basics first. Plumbing electric walls windows doors roofs. And regardless if SJ has lived there for 16 years without a dime, living in poverty on the grace of France to supply food for her. And then traveling the world on Gerrys dime as a paid companion for him. Once the money from Patreon or YouTube was receive that money should’ve gone into fixing all the basics right away not some sketch things that I see.

Ostrich feathers as a truly bougie/magpie/tat/shopping porn idea of luxury bouquets is a motif of #ETTCChateauGrifterStyle, first seen in the non-chateau hosting a hen party, who took the ferry over wearing berets and Breton fisherman t shirts while getting schnockered.
Such nice young ladies.
The good news is, moths eat them. (Feathers. And young ladies too, I suppose.)

I use them only when you mention SJ and Snorts in the sheets. That is a pukey face for those 2 lovebirds....not you! Lol

Oh, the grift! Loire Valley, like SoHo, now extends 20 blocks east to jack up the prices of former tenement apartments, 7th floor walk ups with no windows. I love New York.
Thank you for the primer on French real estate terms of art. Neo-classic! Ur killin' me.

Yeah, his moving his Playmobil in marks some kind of transactional move on both their parts. I fear for the restoration of the lake.

SJ's old Mum was concerned about the base of the Chatoooo .
IJ did not want anything planted there as it will have to be watered so there goes even more damp - she wanted it repaired and painted.
That was a long time ago when I heard this and you can bet she was spitting chips when Dan the Gardener planted tomatoes there!
Oh..... I would not plant pumpkins with roses as pumpkins can get powdery mildew and give it to the rose leaves. You will have to spray - cannot see that being done.

My eyes can’t quit seeing the water damage at the bottom of the shower. Decor can’t hide poor maintenance (once again).

I can’t even fathom why they’re keeping the playmobmobil let alone housing it in a armoire, why not donate to a children’s home or play center they’ll probably never touch it again. I didn’t even finished the vlog where they set it up, so juvenile

My sister is an interior designer. The mirror is way off scale and should never be leaning (safety must always come first). A beautiful large rectangle mirror should be hung between the light sconces. A beautiful gilded towel bar or at least quality hooks should be placed by the shower. A plush bathroom mat on the front of the shower. The vanity table should have been left minimal, no feathers, no used hair set (gross) because the patterned mirror and fabric skirt were the focal point. Than a deep clean addressing any chipping paint. However to be fair it's not terrible.

re one of Dan's vlogs-

Kat and friend playing badminton.
Neither one of them nor anyone else thought to sweep the tennis court?

But the costume cupboard is a priority...

I don't think cleanliness is a top priority. The only time I observed a level of cleanliness came from IJ in her apartment and her home in South Africa.

In these last 16/17 years she decorated much more than renovated her shit-o. Even in the early years she never thought of her budget. She always bought what she wanted regardless its price. Why Wyatts of Westminster, Fortuny, Sudbury silk, Wolgan linen etc. She could have saved money there but didn't. She's just spoiled.

I'm not a germophobe, but having feathers and excess crap in the bathroom where the toilet is located is disgusting. Every time you flush, spray from the the toilet and whatever is in it contaminate the air and land on surfaces. Imagine what's on those feathers! I'm sure Fanny either never took a biology course or flunked it to not to know how germs are spread. I do wish one of the gifters would send her the device that the Hotel Inspector uses to scan for bacteria on surfaces even though the dimwits probably couldn't figure out how to use it since it's something practical.

From "A Weekend at Chateau de Lalande":

I would like to know if this person would also like to volunteer at Lalande......

I watched two opposing shows last night, one about minimalism and the other about hoarders. Fanny is definitely in the latter camp. Her obsessive habit of accumulating stuff shows how insecure she is. She tries to hide this ugly habit by bragging about the designer quality, etc. Guess what Ms. Fanny-fill-in-the-blank? It's still just stuff!

Sounds like a psycho looking for victims.

So Florian is now living with MPK? He's got them on rotation. I have a feeling his brother Billy is over MPK crying for money, etc. MPK's last videos showed him saying how bad the warped paneling was in the cottage....preparing to ask for $ no doubt. But Billy kept saying it was an easy fix...as if to stop MPK in his tracks about needing more money. That cottage will never be completed. He's lost interest in it and will probably never live it in when you're living in a huge Château.

She still has dresses from school and junk from England that she doesn't even know is there. To have spent 15 years there and still be in the condition it is in is shameful. Then she buys more crystal and dishes from Davy's mother....yet the terrace and terrace steps aren't done! At least she hired someone French for the Terrace. All these local people she passes over for jobs and always hires Brits, even though she speaks fluent French. And orders food and items shipped from UK. So many things wrong in wasteful spending.
