I wonder if Cuz is down in the Jenga Room pulling an all nighter before Chateau DIY appears to film his lack of ‘progress’.

Jarvis and Snort have chronic gas -gear acquisition syndrom- and probably gaz too thanks to their diet
Of course with my Hercule Poirot English, I did not find this myself
Thanks to H Alexander

Well the first part of his video was not uplifting at all. It was concerning... excess drinking, smoking.. lazing around, sleepless nights, nightmares. Too much going on his head at the moment...He spoke of Gwendoline with love and respect as the beautiful mother of his boys.. even the song by Candi Staton He called me baby was an odd choice... Was it a 'forgive' me video? His actions haunting him? I don't know about substance abuse but he is not in a good place. His next big project is not going to fill the hole he has dug himself. He must be rubbing his hands with glee though when he found a new buyer for the Library.. Who else would be gullible enough to buy something that was not and never would be right for La Landfil. If Princess thinks she has got herself a bargain she will gladly hand over the cash, even if it's not fit for purpose.. If Amaury has anything to do with it that library is destined for very long stay in the container where it will end up brittle and broken.

So he was bragging about what a deal he won this for. Not only does the 'designer' have no hair... he also apparently has no clothes

Amuray has years of work ahead of him. He is the perfect person for the job as he is meticulous in everything he does.

He doesn’t have the time. I think he’d prefer to just do his own projects. Wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves lalonde

Wasn’t there a mention by Billy originally that the library came from a Rothschild property?

Are the coffers drying up necessitating the need to flog the library? Perhaps he's beginning to realise how much he's lost as Gwen realises that he needs her more than she needs him.

Why why why do these crazies think for one minute that we'd be jealous.

Jealous of what?.............................what!?

Uuummmmm….……hold on….let me think………

Yeah, sorry. Couldn’t come up with a single thing to be jealous of.

I did think of many things to ridicule them for, though.

So will these survive years crammed into a storage bin with no ventilation? Will the wood be tended to properly before said cramming? Or will this 'finish them off'?

Non-climate-controlled units are prone to temperature swings and humidity fluctuations, which can cause wood to warp, crack, or develop mold over time. While short-term storage may be acceptable in dry, stable environments, long-term storage without climate control is not recommended for valuable or antique pieces. If climate control is unavailable, ensure shelves are clean, dry, elevated off the floor, and wrapped in breathable materials like cotton or paper to minimize damage. Pest inspection and desiccants (e.g., silica gel) are also essential.

I’m on it too for my diabetes, i initially lost weight but I’ve plateaued now just grateful my sugar is under control. What I did notice about it is my aversion to alcohol, I used to love wine haven’t touched a glass for over two years. I might have a cocktail but even that’s rare.

If the chimney breast narrows at the top then is it not possible to 'extend' it each side to follow the width at the bottom? Have I just simplified that? Is it a working fireplace? I've no idea if that is even possible but surely you only need a couple of battons and plaster either side. Is this the room that has just had it walls upholstered? So many questions... What's the saying that these diy folk say... Measure twice cut once... should have gone to specsavers.

I don't know why they bothered putting the chairs in the van... they could have saved so much time and just put them straight into the skip as that's where they will eventually end up, behind the green netting in the metal containers.

Funny how those ardent defenders never seem to be able to answer that question.
Yet, in the same breath they scurry around various forums to read what is actually being said and discovered.

Just wondering how many 'deals' we have never seen. This one needs another reconfiguration and restoration for starts

I believe it comes down to the ardent defenders having the same desires as the dump crew. They want that life too. So if anyone criticizes the “lifestyle” it’s a personal affront to them. It’s as if their own world is being attacked and the response is to lash out in defense of what they desire.

When you all look at that “mirror“ remember that the people who bought this Kenough pink hunk of not very well cobbled together junk are the very same people who criticize Terry and Ash.

eta: I’m not in any way disparaging Terry and Ash. They work hard, are actually accomplishing loads, do most things themselves and in a few short years have transformed their chateau and are close to finishing turning it into their dream. More than can be said for Flanny.

They are about to cobble together a mirror from antique furniture pieces for their dining room…we can compare when the finish.
