Why has the background behind the central leaves not been painted gold? couldn't the centre piece be removed in order to paint it.. it reminds me of one of those 60 minute make over items that someone has knocked up in the garden out of plywood and gold spray. Let's not forget though that it was a bargain if it had been bought from a real antiques shop it would have had an extra zero on the end making it 6K... so the fact that it doesn't fit where it was meant to and in time for the B n B season, they will now have to repaint it to suit the decor of the Grande salon or was it Natties apartment that was never Natties apartment. Who is going to be hauling it up and down stairs, through corridors, around corners..Amaury you best lay low because your Mr Shifter skills will be required very soon.

Just watched the video where the library was going to LaLande.....More stuff that will sit in containers. LaLande has zero new windows, the heating system doesn't work, the back patio and steps are falling down, the chapel floor and heating system are still unfinished, Nati's and Jerry's apartment not finished, a fountain they just had to have, still not working, half the chateau is down to the studs, all the chickens are dead (again) but Stephanie buys more lipstick to put on that pig.

Blimey Charlie, a sad day for the Convent, a bitter sweet day for Billy who's moving on and for his family who are not and a possible future mysterious project of naysaying and possible doom, can we, dare we, follow with intrepidation, well I suppose there is not a lot on the telly, so that's a factor, otherwise I'm twiddling my thumbs, staring at the ceiling and occasional curtain twitching. Along with Nicks untimely departure from Dan's Chateau, life really is a witch but I suppose a lot of viewers have passed on also mostly alone and unloved but part of this "community" that must count for something!?!

That mirror for €650 euros plus hotel stay, plus van hire plus 25% commission is not a bargain.
Some of the nutters in the comments are suggesting Snorts job title should be CURATOR!!!

That Mirror looks as if it was ‘ created ‘ for an episode of Chateau DIY!
Contestants…. Here is an old pallet, half a tin of pink paint and a tube of antiquing gold polish. Two sections of new mirror as the old silvered ones are too expensive and some wood cut by Shreks laser.
Viola!!
The back of the mirror looks like old floor boards.

Is Snorts really controlling the narrative. He seems to be convincing fan that he must buy when he sees a bargain. This is not true because as we know, time and time again he fails to measure or in this case match pink with apricot. fan doesn’t like the size of the mirror or the colour.

My qualifications are definitely not interior designer and I do not pretend to follow Italian interior design although love Italy and have stayed in some lovely homes.
