Thank you for posting this......I remembered being at Hillwood, the former home of Marjorie Merriweather Post that is now a museum, right outside of Georgetown in Washington, DC, and there were several pieces of porcelain flowers on display. I thought they were real when I saw them up close - bunches of lilacs in a vase, some pots of lily of the valley and others I can't remember. I also couldn't remember the name of the artist! You found him for me! Against my husband's better judgement, I went to Hillwood at the height of the pandemic, as I'd just gotten vaccinated, and they had an exhibition of 30-40 of his beautiful works. There are some pictures of these flowers all over the internet as it pertains to Hillwood Estate. What is so lovely is that he even captures imperfections in the plants, like the foliage of the foxgloves. Everybody loved the pot of dandelion!

When I was working, on spring days and not too humid summer days, I would venture to Hillwood to take a break and eat lunch, strolling through the beautiful gardens. A true oasis outside of a cramped, frantic city.

Amuary building a frame for their 5 new fruit trees in the middle of their muddy courtyard which resembles the Somme. Joseph comes out to look, turns and walks away without saying a word. Amuary closes their vlog by saying, “Ok, Joseph’s bored”. Hey Amuary, your son’s not the the only one mate! 💤💤💤💤💤

I felt awful for them, as not only did the water seep from the chimney stacks into the rooms, but the basement flooded and there are sone other leaks they will need to address. Props to Lincoln for troubleshooting the circuit breaker (because it is Murphy's law the breaker would break unrelated the the water intrusion) and swapping it out with one that is not being used. Lincoln also got a gold star for putting a trash pump in the basement to get the water out and getting the heating system (which he obviously maintains, researched and understands the components and theory of operation) working again.

Amanda explained they are in the process of setting up a non-profit for the care of the feral cats. She had reached out to pet food companies for donations, but was told that the companies typically only donate to non-profits. Right now, people can still donate to Buy Me A Coffee and the Go Fund Me, but once the non-profit is place, they will shut down the GFM. All money raised goes towards the vet bills and cat care and they will add a few more cat shelters as well.

Amanda and Lincoln also addressed the comments they received from their last vlog and set the record straight on some misassumptions. They do pay into the French healthcare system and do pay taxes in both France and the US. They also did have to delete a few comments and ban a few people. Amanda said, "In France, people love to debate about politics, but they don't murder each other after the conversation."

There was no begging. No hiding in a wine room whilst the makeshift kitchen ceiling was raining inside. They just got on with doing the best they could, showing the reality of what was going on in their lives. ❤

Is Yannis out? I thought he was still living at the chateau in one of the coach house apartments. I’d assumed he was still doing at bit of work around the place for Gwen and helping out Stan too.

Stephanie is so off-putting, fake, shallow, entitled, and fame-hungry. It's pathetic and disgusting. Here's hoping she never darkens another video on this channel ever again.

WOW! I read over 100 comments for about 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. This wallpaper adventure gave me hope that Michael finally found an artistic way to earn a living and contribute to society and feel pride in an accomplishment. But apparently something led that company to not want to proceed further with the endeavor. Whomever paid for the sample process, samples have been received. That is what was paid for. Saying that Steph is left with nothing s simply not true. The pieces you are selling are what the business endeavor resulted in. You are now asking people to purchase these samples or front the cost for the next company to possibly produce the wallpaper. With the large viewership, I am sure you will find people to purchase the latest product. What a fantastic way of choosing to conduct business. Ask people to fund your project. after all, we get to watch several entertaining episodes each week and travel worldwide to museums and beaches and get first rate narration and well researched commentary. I guess it is how you choose to look at the content and the creator. We viewed do get entertainment. Some viewers choose to offer their money to support the travel, lifestyle, food, purchases, restoration, and antiques. Dear viewers—don't get angry if you ever realize your money goes towards boards in the chateau, while money they earn goes towards the above list. Where is your money really going?

I think he wasn’t able to get back in to the convent. Someone on here said it was Andrew who wouldn’t let him in. I have no idea if that was true or not.

If I ever won the lottery I would love to have a small piece of his work...... to see them in real life would be just wonderful.

This popped up in my YouTube feed.Julie may be annoying but she does not give up. Her two older children were going to run the marathon in Firenze, Italy and Julie was going to run the 10k race ( which is her longest run). However, she accidentally got into the lane for the marathon. When she realized her mistake, she thought that she would try to run 1/2 of the marathon and then stop but she kept going and her children finished the marathon and realized that they could not find her. They looked on their tracking for her and it appeared that she was still running at 3 mph. She texted them that she was running the marathon and was trying to finish the race. In the last stretch of the marathon, her son Nestor jumped the barrier and ran with her to the finish line. Julie is annoying but tough and determined.

She was supposed to run 10k/6.2 miles but instead ran 42.19 k/26.21miles!
