Watching a Hercule Poirot mystery on tv this evening and who should feature only John Bowler aka Roger Valentine. 😁 Very dapper he looked!

I was about to comment here that the older series includes the storyline about Ray Moore. Remember Ray Moore and how often Heaton mentioned Ray Moore, Ray Moore, Ray Moore.

And then Celebrity Traitors popped up on my newsfeed and guess who is in it only Ray Moore / Mark Bonnar. 😁
I liked that storyline!

From Thursday the episodes on Drama are going back to series 17. Eddie Santini and Rosie episodes
I have to deprogramme my brain and forget about what I just watched so I can get into this next lot. 😁
U&Eden is also showing an old series but I thought that might addle my head altogether, trying to watch that too.

I think actually they do leave some things unfinished in that particular series. It's not entirely down to me chopping and changing in terms of watching episodes. 😁

I went back recently and watched the end of the final episode, Jack's speech - Respect. It's a fantastic piece of writing and a great piece of acting. I think I remember reading that Simon Rouse said he was genuinely emotional delivering it.

I'm also still re-watching the series on U&W. Gina's departure episode is excellent. Again, the sincerity of the actors makes it very moving. Tony having overheard her talking to Heaton, knowing that she was leaving, and saying she was the best gov. And her last interaction with Smithy - a great scene and very credible.
Are you watching the ones on Drama?
Nick and Cass have just arrived

Almost at the end of the final series on U&Drama. I hope they will start a different one straightaway. There's stuff I had forgotten like the fact that Grace and Neil got together. Watching one last night where Max tells all the others about them. He kept making very personal remarks to Grace and told Neil not to worry, that his lips were sealed. Ugh.

There's just too much of Max in these final ones for me. I half remembered he had a coke addiction but I'm not sure if he gets found out - apart from by Mickey and Terry.

Unsatisfactory ending to the previous one I watched, maybe the full truth emerges yet. Didn't really like the ending of last night's one either where Max was telling a suspect what to say, so that he wouldn't be convicted of murder, presumably.
