I actually really enjoyed last night's episode. I've felt like for years The Apprentice has slid away from serious business ventures and towards silly, laugh-at-idiots entertainment, but that last night was a bit of a return to form.

I was getting a bit tired of producers rewarding TV-entertainment stupidity in previous episodes (and seasons), like offering 50p for an item marketed at £30. And there didn't seem to be any real consequences for it, like sellers in the item-finding challenge having the ability to go 'that's disrespectful, I'm not selling to you' - like they would in real life over that. It paid for smart candidates to be TV-memorable, loud, and bolshy, even if in the real world it would get them nowhere.

But last night, they actually rewarded a more 'boring' but workable and likeable design and rightly criticised something ridiculously unwearable. I was glad to see it for once. I hope next week we see some viable business plans that we could actually get behind, as well as a bit of entertainment.

I think Chisola & Dean will be the final two. In You're Fired Alan was really singing her praises when Tom Allen did a quick interview about the final 5.

I think Liam's company does uniforms/workwear rather than fashion.

I never want this show to end, it's unintentionally the funniest thing on TV.

I agree about it being a good episode last night - the task felt like quite a fresh idea

Liam was so funny on your hired, Mia is still salty though and I get that but she’s really not hiding how annoyed she is well.

I think Mia has a weird rivalry with Anisa? She made some dig about her only being allowed one big mistake earlier, and I reckon she was so furious when fired as she’d lost out to Anisa

Just caught up with last night's show.
OMG Mia was annoying with her daft ideas about men wanting to wear dresses. That's a very small market and the clothes were just hideous. She deserved to be fired. The small number of men who do want to wear dresses wouldn't be seen dead in that parachute monstrosity.

Jordan could have used Liam's knowledge and then they could've come up with some mens clothing together, but he chose to sideline him.
I think Sugar wanted to fire Liam anyway after the fiasco last week so he was an easy target.

It's hard to predict who will actually have a decent business plan. I really don't care who wins.

I flitted between really liking Mia and then despising her. I agree with a post in the previous thread about her being condescending and her attitude at the end stunk. Also pretty sure when it showed her leaving the boardroom with the suitcase she audibly scoffed/tutted. But to be fair, I do think she was a very good candidate.

Not really sure who I want to win now, I haven't even really been paying attention enough to know what each of them do or what their business plans are. I do quite like Anisa, her facial expressions are unintentionally very funny and she's worked hard throughout.

I felt exactly the same about Mia, and similar about Jordan. He can come across as a petulant brat at times.

I did however admire them both in this task. Mia for trying something different and thinking outside the box. Jordan for running with it ( even though it wasn't his concept ) and thinking on his feet in the pitch and coming up with a back story.

Unfortunately it wasn't a task to create something innovative, but ultimately a selling task so they didn't follow the brief.

I don't know who I want to win either tbh.
Dean hasn't done anything really and is coasting being the " lovable rouge "
Jordan is a bit too cocky
Amber Rose is just there for the following

So it's between Chisola and Anisa for me

i reckon anisa will win. i really like dean but i reckon his business plan will be ripped to shreds in the interviews and he’ll be gone. tim seems to really like jordan?

"But why have we gone for a skirt?"
"Because we're breaking free from societal norms, gotta go bye."

It's pure comedy!

There was something that happened a couple of episodes ago that made me think Jordan's the one who they're keeping in just so they can spin the episode around how bad his business plan is. There's always one who has an exceptionally bad plan. It might be Dean though as you say.

I'm surprised Mia is gone and I'm hoping for a Chisola/Anisa final two. Having said that, haven't they had a run of "all girl" finals recently? I didn't watch the last 2 seasons.

When the sugar was interviewed he was surprisingly complimentary about Chisola so I think she might be in with a shot. I could see them working together too, she seems quite mature and I don’t see them clashing as much as he would with the other candidates

Thank God! I was starting to feel like the only one who found it ridiculous. It's great to be inclusive but it was never going to fly under their circumstances.

Chisola has come across well throughout and is my favourite out of the candidates left but I have no idea what her business plan is.

Without knowing the candidates which of these business ideas do you think Alan would go for...

- Taiwanese bubble tea stores
- Indian-Italian fusion pizza shop/range
- Online networking platform that connect budding entrepreneurs with potential investors
- commercial and residential air conditioning
- "orchestra of the world's most talented 3D artists"

I think in recent years he has invested in food related companies but I'm not convinced fusion pizza is going to be a huge market. Bubble tea is increasingly popular but there's a lot of competition.

Air conditioning could be a good investment as the market for that should be expanding. 3D artists hmm.... there's loads of designers online.
Not sure about the investment platform and how viable that is 🫠

It's hard to call.

Air conditioning as a "safe" investment or the entrepreneur one which I think there's a massive gap in the market for.
