I think that is the fundamental problem (if you see it as a problem that is) with this format - actually who the best candidate is doesn't win, it is who happens to have the most profitable business plan. Obviously you've got to get through the early tasks but just the knowledge of what the business plan is must be at the back of his mind all the time.

The whole episode was trash. Throwing them to Hong Kong didn't change anything. It was just all over the place. First impressions of the cast/candidates aren't great either.

The thing I wondered was when they were phoning around random places in the car trying to find out what things were to then be able to source them. Why don’t they ask the driver, I assume he’s local and would know what the items were, or is that not allowed

I thought this but i suspect the driver isn't allowed to help and they just have to drive the candidates around.

I get the argument for using technology, but I still think it's a good test of common sense & ingenuity. From what we saw, the girls barely used the information pack at all & map reading obviously wasn't in their skillset.

In my work, we deal with a lot of new designers/architects of a similar age & unfortunately the contestants are a good indicator of what we have to deal with! They'll do a fancy drawing of something, made of materials that can't be sourced, & even worse, just can't be made how they've designed it as it defies the laws of physics

I think they need to reformat the last episode, badly - or just remake the entire concept of the show as basically a 'survive 12 weeks and I'll give you some cash for your business'.

It's just become so silly - the idea of coming up with a new logo and video ad and then a light grilling from some experts. They're always bad logos/names, bad videos, and the experts rarely have any question that is really pointed. All the candidates ever say is 'I'm doing XXXX moderately well, I want to make 10 other people do it in 10 new locations and make lots of money'. Great. Airco or pizza, nobody cares at this point. We never hear from them again anyway.

I think it either needs to lean way more into the dragons den style (a bit like the interviews in the previous episode), or simply rebrand the entire show as basically a weekly elimination, scrap even hearing about their business in any detail, and the people with the best business acumen get a cash prize.

The trailer for the new regular series suggests changes to whats gone before it. I hope thats the case. A return to a focus on business over entertainment/drama would be a start

Chisola and Anisa are my two favourites for the final, though I do like Dean too. Problem is, no matter how good or likeable they are, they usually have rubbish, half baked business plans that don't really deserve investment. I miss the old days of an actual job being the prize. Or the winner being someone with an existing product that just needs a bit of investment or influence from LS to break through. It feels like sometimes these business ideas are something a teenager has come up with in their bedrooms for a bit of spare pocket money.

I'm guessing that I'm probably alone here but I can't stand Karishma or Pasha. How Pryash has got through seemingly doing very little is beyond me. Lawrence and Dan have zero charisma and they're both lucky to have scraped through.
Therefore I couldn't care less who wins!

I do find Kieran entertaining but he should have gone. I thought Connor's final speech was quite gutsy and respectable but they probably felt Kieran's ultimatum would make better TV

I kept forgetting she existed.

I’m surprised about that as Amber Rose has featured quite heavily in the show throughout the process and has been pretty dominant. If anything she’s been one of the standout contestants by virtue she’s been in the edit a lot in nearly every episode. If you were to ask the average viewer to name a handful of contestants, even back when there was still quite a full house, I think her name would get mentioned
